We are heading down for Thanksgiving 08.
We LOVE Beach Club but wonder if we should try something new.
Which option would you all choose?
* AKV concierge or savanna view
* Back to Beach CLub
* Wilderness
* Boardwalk

We are currently booked at our home of Saratoga, but do not think we will be happy there.

When it comes to the holiday decorations I'd go with Wilderness lodge.

I think it depends on where you will be spending most of your time. I try to stay close to the parks I spend the most time in. I would have to give the nod to VWL when it comes to holiday decorations, although I've stayed at the other two during the holidays as well.

I've stayed at BWV, VWL, and BCV. I like VWL for access to MK, so if you were planning on MVMCP or something, I'd stay there. I actually like BWV if I'm spending an equal amount of time between Epcot and the Studios. You are almost exactly half way between the two. It doesn't seem a lot farther to walk to BWV than to BCV from Epcot, depending on where you get your room. Some people would think the pool at BCV is a deciding factor.

The villas are all laid out the same, and very close to the same size, so other than decor, there's no difference in the accommodations.

I love BWV, especially at the holidays. The decorations are really nice, and the location is wonderful. You are really close to Epcot and MGM, and all of the activities of the Boardwalk.

AKV concierge, which could have a savannah view, sounds really nice, though. I recently read a report on another board describing the AKV concierge benefits. The food sounded awesome, basically three small meals a day. Liquor is available all day and into the evening at no cost, not just beer and wine. You can then book the Sunrise Safari. I heard a rumor that concierge might not be available after all of the Villas are built. If you would like to try it, you might want to do it now. DH and I are thinking of making a special trip this year just in case.

If you want VWL, you need to book day by day exactly at 7 months if you want to get it. It might be already booked by VWL members, too.

AKV Concierge is not going to be available at 7 months. There are only five two bedroom lockoffs available and they go very quickly. You might be able to get a Savanna view at 7 months, again booking day by day exactly at 7 months.

Your best bet would be BWV preferred view of the choices you have. There are more rooms available there than at BCV. You will need to book exactly at 7 months. Ask MS if you need to book day by day to get it. Standard view and BW view will probably already be booked by BWV members.
