Hello! DH & I have stayed at SSR & OKW so far for DVC resorts. We are staying at BWV Aug 20-25th, then going over to POFQ for our wedding anniversary the nights of the 25th & 26th (first place we stayed together). Then on Aug 28th we are going to transfer back to another DVC resort, but I'm having trouble deciding which one. I really like OKW, the relaxed atmosphere, the quiet pool areas, the spacious rooms. I also like SSR, quiet pool areas and the couch area in the rooms. But I'm thinking of staying at VWL maybe? I don't think we will stay at BCV this time, since it will still be kind of busy with kids and we will have just stayed in the same resort area with BWV the previous week. It will be DH & I alone most of the time, although my brother & his wife might join us from Miami for a couple of days. Is there nice quiet pool areas at VWL? Does anyone have any comments or suggestions for a couple celebrating their anniversary with a 2 week DVC stay? We plan to spend our time taking it easy, not our usual commando trip. We will be at Disney almost exclusively, except for 1 day at Sea World. I looked at the photos inside of the different studio rooms, and we have visited ALL of the WDW resorts, just haven't stayed at all of them.

For sure the first week will be BWV, that ressie has already been made, but I have to wait until 2/01 for the 8/28-9/01 week.

Thanks for all comments!

Lori & Steve

VWL has a quiet atmosphere that is very different from BWV. There is a nice quiet pool area. There are also bike riding trails, walking trails and it is fun to rent a boat on Bay Lake. It can be very peaceful and relaxing. Good luck with your decision and Happy Anniversary! :)

I wanna stay at them all. BWV and OKW are on top of the list.

Oh, I didn't think of the boat renting perk! We did that at Poly once and had a great time. Thank you. byoung, we want to stay at them all, too. we are trying to stay at least one night at each WDW resort eventually. On different trips, of course. Sometimes we spend the night at a WDW hotel on the way home from my brother's in Miami.
