I just looked at the room layout of a 2 BR at AKV-Jambo and was surprised that it had 1 Bed and a sofa bed in the second BR. We need a resort with 2 beds in the second BR. Does Kidani? I remember that OKW does. BCV had some-do they all have 2 beds in the second BR now? What other DVC resorts have 2 beds in the second BR?

If you get a dedicated 2BR you will have 2 real beds in the 2nd BR. Note AK-J and BW do not have dedicated 2 BR, all of their units are lock-offs. The exception is Vero, their dedicated 2nd BR has a Queen and a sofa, at least the one we had was set up this way.

Yeah. It's really a matter of Dedicated or Lock-off. Most dedicated 2BRs have 2 beds in the second bedroom (and no kitchenette). In a lock-off, the second bedroom is a studio, so you get the studio layout with kitchenette as the BR.

Kidani definitely has dedicated 2 BRs. When booking it is listed as a 2BR (versus a 2BR lockoff). If you switch to Kidani you will also get a third bathroom off the living room.

As mentioned, if it's a dedicated 2BR it's the 2 beds in the second bedroom. If it's a lock-off that's simply done with a connecting door between a studio and a 1BR. OKW is the exception because their studios have the 2 beds but any place else it means the studio set up for the second bedroom. At Jambo and BWV it's only the lock-off - neither has dedicated 2BR's. Kidani will though.

And the weird BCV exception - where some of the dedicateds have a sofa bed instead of two queens - two queens there is a booking category.

That has changed with the refurb. All dedicated 2BR's there have the 2 queen beds now.

Somehow they magically were able to fit 2 queens in when they couldn't when it was built.

The BCV change makes me happy. We really prefer 2 Queens in that second bedroom.

BLT has 2bd rooms with 2 queen beds, the room has huge, plus 3 full baths. Way bigger than the BCV and SSR 2bd with 2 queens we have stayed in.
If you can afford BLT it's great for a big group.
