Which DVC Resorts Do You Own?**UPDATED**

OKW, BWV, and VB for now - trying to decide whether to add on at WLV

We have 300 at OKW, and just added 50 at VB. This should hold us for a while.

Joined this Spring at VWL and have added on 3 times already! The last time being this month after contemplating how close VWL is to selling out. We love VWL....obviously!

It appears that you own at HH- which certainly provides a good advantage for you to reserve at that resort during the popular summer months, but you might experience a challenge getting a BWV reservation for Thanksgiving - 7 months in advance.

For many people, the 11 month priority is important in planning their vacations. For others, the 7 month schedule works fine.

I was wondering this too. How does this work? If you own two resorts, does the 11-month reservation priority at your home resort work no matter how many points you want to use? Or is it only good for the number of points from your home resort? For example, if you own 150 at one place, and 150 at another place, and want to use all 300 points for one reservation, can you do that in the 11 month priority window even though your points are not all from the one home resort?

I found this kinda tricky myself. The way I understand it (and please someone correct me if I am mistaken) is that if you own 150 points at Vero and 150 at OKW and you want to stay at OKW using all your 300 points at the 11 month window that you cannot do it. You have to use the 150 at your "home" resort at the 11 month window and then wait until the 7 month window to use the other 150 points. The only way around this I can find would be to borrow points. For instance, I'd like to do a small add on at BCV when it opens, say 75 points. When I make a reservation at the 11 month window, I can borrow points from the next year which will give me 150 points to use for that particular reservation. But I'd still have to wait until the 7 month window to use my HH points to add more nights (if that is what is required). Isn't this correct guys?

Zeras Pride, you are correct with your answer. You can only book 11 months out with your homeresort points. You can borrow from your resort though. For example, if you have just 150 pts at say VB, you can borrow ahead, to get 300 and book the whole 300, if VB is your home resort.

Thanks for the confirmation! I thought that was the way it worked. I just hope I can convince DH to do the add on at BCV! But I am so grateful we have any points that I won't complain if adding on isn't feasible at this time (at least not too loudly - lol).

We had always wanted to stay at the Wilderness Lodge.
When we bought. I went to one of the DVC booths for no reason & she mentioned that VWL was being sold. My DH goaned & I let out a yelp. We made an appointment & found that we could afford it and we are now happy DVCers
