Which DVC resort has the most comfy pull out sofas?

We are in the VERY early planning stages of a trip next fall for the Food & Wine festival. My mom and I were hoping to stay at possibly the Beach Club for its proximity to Epcot. My friend and her 13 year old daughter would like to tag along with us if they can afford it. It looks like the most cost effective way for us all to be happy is to stay in a 1 BR DVC (so we can eat some meals there) unit... preferably in the Epcot area but honestly anywhere on property would be ok. My mom and I would share the King bed and my friend & her daughter would either share the pull out or maybe the daughter would sleep on an air mattress.

Which DVC units have the most comfortable non-bed sleeping options? I obviously wouldn't want them to pay $600 to sleep uncomfortably for a week.

I did look at a possibility of a 2 br but I think it's just a bit out of our price range. I also looked into the idea of renting points to afford a 2 br but I want to be eligible for Free Dining and also the friend's daughter is on a hockey team and if they make a playoff that requires travel then they wouldn't be able to afford to go and I don't want to be locked into a 2 br unit I rented points for that my mom and I can no longer afford alone.

Thanks for staying with me thru that lengthy question! haha

The only two we've tried are BWV and AKL. My daughter complained about the one at AKV and she's not a complainer by nature. I did lay on it and it wasn't great.
The one at BWV was no problem for us though. Kids didn't mind it and I took a nap on it and don't remember disliking it at all.

The BCV have newer pull out couches made by Logic Furniture. (I know because I stalked to learn who made them.) They pullout in one fluid motion, no tossing the cushions aside that take up room. They don't have the horrible "bar" in the middle of your back.

My mom slept on the pullout at BWV with no problem. We learned a trick here that with the older version just to tuck an extra pillow between the "bar" and the mattress. It totally did the trick for a comfy night of sleep.

Have been to F&W the past two years, am sad to miss it this year (even though it was my choice)! Won't complain though since I'm blessed to have an astounding 4 trips in 6 months. Ah fate!

Good luck!

We stayed at the BWV for the first time ever last week. Stay often at BCV. The pullout at the BWV seemed identical to those at BCV to me. Perhaps they were changed whwen BWV had renovations a year or so ago. There's a spot for the pillows as you fold up the bed, it pulls down from the top of the sofa, etc.. My husband and son slept on the sofa while my DD and I shared the king last week. My DH said the bed was fine.

So I would choose whichever Epcot resort you can get.:goodvibes

Have to agree with pps. We have stayed at the BWVs and the BCVs and there were no complaints at all about the sleepers. I have a bad back and tried them out to see if they were comfortable and since they have the larger mattresses they are comfortable and didn't bother my back. Our son slept on the sleeper every night and never complained once.

When my DD was 13 we stayed at Sarasota Springs. She loves the pull out. To this day ( she is now 17) she talks about how much she loved that bed compared to other resorts.

Stayed in BLT in February 11'. While there were a few things I was unsatisfied with about the resort, I will say the pull-outs were remarkably comfortable! I hate pull-outs and I had no problems sleeping on it a all!

Great news since we'll be back at BWV in Nov.!
