Which DTD restaurant?

We'll be getting to the Orlando area late afternoon, but won't be using a park ticket until the next day. We'll most likely head to DTD for the evening, and maybe we can do a nice dinner to officially kick-off our vacation.

There are 5 of us - 2 adults, kids will be 10, 8 and 5. Oldest child loves a good burger, youngest child will eat anything, and middle child is very picky (he sticks with his chicken fingers and fries all the time).

We did T-rex last year (it was just ok for us), so we don't need to do that again. Which restaurant would be a good choice for our family?

Even though it's not a table service restaurant and considered to be a counter service location, I would highly recommend Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney Marketplace.

We also love Sandwich of Earl. It isn't Subway. You'll have a variety of sandwiches available, reasonably priced, not ADR need, and quick. You won't spend the evening in a restaurant.

Enjoy!

I love Raglan Road. Great food, great entertainment and good kids menu.

I 3rd Earl of Sandwich--we still talk about the sandwiches and wish we had one where we live. We ate there 2 nights in a row.

Raglan Road I'm going in August for the bread pudding...I guess I'll do a few other things too since I'm flying down :goodvibes

Seriously though the food was awsome and the entertainment was allot of fun!

And PLEASE get the bread and butter pudding it has to be terrible for you because it is my avorite dessert on all of Disney property.

HAVE FUN!

Wolfgang Puck Express!!!!

They have everything from great pizza's, roasted chicken dinner, spagetti to what my daughter says are the best chicken fingers ever!!!

go a little different here and suggest House of Blues. They have good home style food with a southern/creole influence. If you go, get a side of the rosemary cornbread to share.

Hi! I put up the same post a few days ago, so here is basically what people suggested to me:

Raglan Road
House of Blues
Earl of Sandwich
Wolfgang Puck Express

T-Rex and Rainforest were also suggested by a lot of people but I know you said you already did T-Rex. We're going in May and there aren't any reservations available at either of these places.

We decided to eat at Raglan Road, House of Blues, and Wolfgang Puck Express for dinner. (We've eaten at WPE before and it was GREAT!). Maybe one day for lunch we'll try EOS too. Hope this helps! :goodvibes

I know you wanted to eat at a nice sit-down restaurant, so I'll suggest Raglan Road or our favorite CS, which is Wolfgang Puck Express MP(not West Side). It is seriously delicious and unlike other CS, since it is served to you on real plates.

If you have CS credits left on your last day, just an idea for all my disboard friends out there:

Flying back to Texas, the only nonstop flight on Airtran is around the 8pm time frame which puts us back to the hotel for the ME around 4:30. We hit any of our favorite rides that morning before the parks get over crowded and then we head to DD for WPE for lunch and we grab a sandwich from EoS to eat at the airport while we are waiting for the plane.

EoS is soooooooooooooooooo much better than airport food! Especially the cannonball!!!! YUM:love:

Thanks for all the suggestions! The Earl of Sandwich does look like it had a great menu. Maybe we will try something like that, since we wouldn't have to have an ADR and could just roll with our schedule that night.

i just love having so many great choices!

Does House of Blues have live music all the time? My boys are both huge music fans, and they may really like seeing some live music.
