Which dragon???

I completely disagree with Dragons being more intense than Hulk. Inverted coasters (Dragons style) are known for being smoother than regular sit-down style.

The Hulk has gotten very rough over the last several years. It really throws your head around, I get a headache after Hulk but not after Dragons. Hulk is amazing and worth it, but it does slam your head around more than any other coaster at Univ/IOA.

Dragons keep a smooth, sweeping momentum during the ride and doesn't slam you around as roughly as Hulk does.
To me ride intensity has nothing to do with smooth vs. rough. It's about the track and the ride itself. It sounds like you don't think a coaster can be intense because it's smooth and I can assure you there are plenty of coasters that are intense because of the track...not whether it's smooth or rough.

I think Red was a bit more intense that Blue, so I always do blue first, then red (and then have an amazingly wonderful dizzy-buzz as I leave the ride).

Really, why is that? (I'm going to Universal for the first time in December and trying to figure out which coasters I can handle. :goodvibes)

I think it's because the Dragons and the Hulk have a similar speed bueveruthing is generally smaller on the Dragons making for jerkier movements and tighter maneuvers, etc. I feel like Hulk is more big and 'swoopy':thumbsup2
