Which Dr. Seuss books should I buy?

Hi everybody,

I'm planning our trip for next year and I can't find the Dr. Seuss books in German. Now would like to buy 1 or 2 books in English and translate them for my kids. Which characters are featured in Dr. Seuss Landing? I read about "The cat in the hat" and "If I ran the zoo". Should I buy this two or would you recommend others?

Those are two of the attractions in Seuss Landing but there's also One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish you might want to consider. Other than those...I think any of the Seuss books would be fine. Seuss Landing is more about the experience instead just based on books. So anything should be fine.

I would buy "The Cat in the Hat" so they would understand the ride. They also need to know who Thing 1 and Thing 2 are. There are so many Thing 1 and Thing 2 t-shirts around the book would help them understand. My next pick would be "One Fish, Two Fish", it's just a favorite of mine.

I believe they appear in The Cat in the Hat story...which is what the attraction is based on.

Well my Favorite Seuss book is Green Eggs and Ham... Just because it rolls of the tongue so well, but not sure if in German it would have the same ring to it. There is a Green Eggs and Ham food booth that sadly is never open anymore...

Cat in the Hat for Sure... Great book. I always ask my kids at the end of the ride... Would yooooooooooou tell meeeeeeeeee if the Cat in the Hat stopped by... and they laugh every time. (for the record the girls would not tell me and the boy would)

Older kids.. like 8

The Sneetches and Other Stories is also a good Seuss book... and that ties in with the Trolly Ride, and a good lesson in life (as in green eggs and ham)
