Family of 4, looking for one we can walk to downtown Disney and not have to take our car and a pool in case kids want to swim. Also do any of them have breakfast included?

No Disney hotel has Breakfast included (unless you pay for the dining plan)... Also nothing is in walking distance that is a Disney hotel (Saratoga Springs might be actually, but that's Deluxe and you might not want to spend that much for one night as Deluxe resort is made that price so you stay at your resort and enjoy the things there, if you won;t spend a lot of time there you probably don't want to pay that...) BUT Port Orleans Riverside has a boat ride you can take from the resort to Downtown Disney and they have a main pool and quiet pools... Also it's my favorite resort :)

but remember all Disney hotels have free transportation (normally a bus) that takes you to all parks and included Downtown...

Also Port Orleans Riverside (POR) has a 2 queen room with this pull out bed in the wall, perfect for a family of four that two kids don't want to sleep together. The rooms are very well themed (even the standard ones).

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is the DTD hotel we always choose. It's one crosswalk away from DTD Marketplace and is reasonably priced. Their restaurant does offer breakfast and even a breakfast character meal, but it's not included. They have a cafe in the lobby that offers some breakfast items like muffins, coffee, bannana's, milk, cereal, etc.

The Wyndham is the closest to DTD. We stayed there for one night this August and were very happy with it. Won on Priceline for $52, I forget the resort fee, but it was reasonable, and valet parking was $8 per day. Very short walk to DTD, no free breakfast but Earl of Sandwich is right there and very reasonable. We'd be very happy to wind up there again next year.

What was the description of the hotel on Priceline?

The Buena Vista Palace,Wyndham and the Hilton are the closest to DTD. There are often good deals for the BVP that include parking and resort fee.

Even the farthest Downtown Disney hotels are walkable, but Hilton is the closest with Palace and Wyndham being next depending on your room location. For all resorts always check the Resort Fee and Parking Fee and figure that into your costs, sometimes a deal doesn't turn out as good as you thought. Unless it has changed, Priceline (bidding process) doesn't guarantee two beds, their process is based on two adults sleeping together. I have no issue using Priceline but we never use for the family when we know we want two beds.

Go here to find some direct to hotel bargains www.downtowndisneyhotels.com. It will also give you a good comparison of all the DTD hotels. Some will include breakfast as part of a package. Through here the Best Western offers package with breakfast buffet for 4 and free parking among some other perks.

If you check with Mousesavers you can usually book via their link and get continental breakfast at Doubletree (which has a nice selection and it includes Mickey waffles).

I am staying at the Doubletree Suites right now with a great rate (plus parking) and next weekend am trying the B resort, also with a great rate (plus parking).

Hotels all having swimming pools.

Holiday Inn is great.....no resort fee, decent pool, buffet breakfast, large spotlessly clean rooms with great bathrooms, fab staff....right next door to the Hilton & just a 5-10 min walk from DTD :))

Believe the Wyndham was one of the 3.5 star resorts. Should be able to get one of them at around $50 per night, really hard to go wrong with any of them, especially for one night.

I like the Hilton, the busses run very regular, you even get extra magic hours, they have irritated me
Lately with their $22 resort and $14 parking fee, but the actual room rate went down.:confused3 so it ends up about the same. Wolfgang Puck has great breakfast.
