OK, since I have decided on a Maclaren double, not sure which one to get. So I am attaching the links for everyone to see. Let me know your opinions!

This one is a Rally Twin...this one is $189

Here is another Rally Twin...this one is $209
http://www.specialtybaby.com/ma20ratwstsh.html

Lastly, here is a Twin Traveller...this one is $269
http://www.specialtybaby.com/ma20twtrstca.html

Just a note about how I will be using this stroller.

I will only use it for trips to the mall/outlets, trips to the Zoo or Aquarium, possible summer trips to Dorney Park and Hershey Park, etc. Of course I will use it for trips to WDW, too!!!!!! My DS is 4 1/2 years old and DD is almost 1. I won't be using it every day (DS doesn't need it to go EVERYWHERE) but I DEFINITELY need one. He has ADHD and is ALL OVER THE PLACE and doesn't listen when his name is called. So for these type of trips, a double stroller is a necessity.

Why a Maclaren? Because it's the only stroller to hold up to 55 pounds. DS is 42 pounds already.

PLEASE HELP...YOUR OPINIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! :sunny:

I think I like the second one best! A little funkier pattern...not much more $ than the first one. The 3rd one I think is not worth the extra. JMO!

Is the only difference between the first and the second the color of the fabric? If so then they are sold out of #2. So, between #1 and #3, I would go with #1. Just due to price alone. Of course, I live in FL and would never need a boot!

You're right, that pattern shown in #2 is gone. :guilty: Oh well.

I actually have a Maclaren Quest Mod Single with that SAME pattern (in Pink).

OK, so now it's between the Rally Twin or Twin Traveller (aka Twin Techno). Any other opinions on which one I should get??? :confused3

Darn, they must have just run out of them. That stinks....oh well, the first one now gets my vote. $80 more for the other one is just too much for what you get. I had a boot with a stroller once and never used the thing. I'd snag the first one before they run out of that too. I really liked that second one. Maybe a bunch of DIS'ers bought them up. Seems to be a ton of stroller questions recently...especially about doubles.

I have 11 month old triplets and have two Macs (why? because they weigh next to nothing and hold up very well!) one of which is the twin traveller. I love it. It is lightweight and I like that the wheels swivel (makes it easier to turn when the kids get heavier). The snap on bootie is great for taking kids to the mall on cooler days - so you don't have to layer them up just to walk from the parking lot to the mall....also great when it gets a little chillier at WDW in the evenings - snap it on and they stay toasty. I'm sure you will be happy with whichever one you get --- just check to make sure the Rally has swivel wheels - really important in a double. :thumbsup2

I like the 3rd. I will probably be looking into this one myself. I have a larger front back double stroller for the mall since it is easy to use in stores but I want a nice side by side for the zoo and amusement parks. The stroller I have now is also super heavy so there is no way I could fold it up and take it on disney transportation. My dds will be 1 and 4 on our next Disney trip.

OK, guys. I found a bunch of them on ebay! Check this out:

This is the same one that I posted as #1 before. It's the Rally Twin in the color Allure. It's $149, with a BIN of $159. S&H is $25, and with sales tax the total comes out to $189 or $199. At Albee Baby, it would have cost me $205 with tax (no delivery fee).

Now here is the Twin Taveller (now known as the Techno). It's in Carbon/Crimson (Black/Red) and is $229 BIN. There is a $35 shipping fee, but NO SALES TAX with this one. Total comes out to $264, where at Albee Baby it was $292.

Now here is the Twin Traveller in Charcoal/Pearl (Blue/Gray). It is $10 more than the other one I just showed. It's $239 BIN. With shipping, comes out to $274.

Lastly, here is another Rally Twin with the same MOD pattern that was sold out at Albee Baby. Except for with this one, the color is Insignia/Blue (not green like the other one). It is a true auction, so the price right now is currently $159.99. With tax and shipping, the total comes out to $201.

SOOOOO....WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK????? Do I go for the cheap Rally Twin, or go for the Twin Traveller with these good deals??

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3

We have the Twin Traveller-the red and black one. I don't remember why, but my dh really wanted that one over the Rally Twin. They are both great strollers. One thing that is great about the red one is that it was really easy to spot in a sea of blue strollers! :thumbsup2

LAST QUESTION, EVERYONE...SORRY!!!

OK, I think we've decided on the Twin Traveller. Question is, what color? Everyone said the red is so great, but don't you think the BLACK will absorb the sun at WDW and throughout the summer?? I was thinking more along the lines of the BLUE/GRAY one. But will the BLUE/GRAY get filthy too quick? :confused3

On another note, And I found yet a different red Maclaren...another Rally Twin. It's in the Chili Red pattern. No shipping, and I am not sure about tax. Even if I was charged tax it would be $238.

Why do I keep doing this to myself?? I got DH to agree that the Twin Traveller one is better (has a regular recline system...not the pull string recline, like the Rally has) and he said to go and order it. What's wrong with me???

OK, so just answer my last question. Which color for the Twin Traveller and why?

BLACK/RED
GRAY/BLUE

The TT has bigger wheels & a better recline system (IMO). It also has the extendable leg rests for babies. Plus I love the boot muffs in the colder weather. I like the TT better.

I've decided to go with the TT...BUT WHAT COLOR, is the question??? What do you think?

RED/BLACK
GRAY/LIGHT BLUE

If I had to do it over, I would still go for the red. I had the same concerns about the black being too hot, but we went in September, and the girls were very content. They didn't complain at all and didn't seem to be uncomfortable.

I think I like the red myself. My Volo I used last Sept. was black and pink and I didn't notice any problems with the heat. If you like the red, I'd get it. The other one is pretty, but will show the dirt more on that light blue.

I have twins so I use a double stroller most of the time (I have the Combi Twin Savvy in Silver Pearl). I didn't bring it to WDW because I couldn't fit a double stroller in our vehicle for the drive, so had to bring umbrella strollers. Anyway, just wanted to let you know my regular double stroller is fairly dark (silver and black) and I live in South Louisiana, where it is DARN HOT, and we haven't had any problems. I would still go with the red...it won't show dirt as much and will stand out in a crowd.

By the way---Bring the raincover! Luckily, I decided to throw ours in the suitcase at the last minute. We had 2 days of rain in WDW, but it didn't stop us. The boys were quite content under their rain covers, while mom and dad schlepped (spelling?) around in ponchos, looking like drowned rats. We would have missed a lot without them. Hopefully, your raincover will have the mesh on the sides to allow air in.

We have the Red/Black Combo you're looking to get and I like it. We also chose it because of how it doesn't show the dirt as well. It's very cute. :)

DECISIONS, DECISIONS!!! :confused3 I like both of them, and am leaning towards the blue and gray. But scared because of the dirt!!! Anyone have a light blue stroller and regretted it???

What to do, what to do... :confused3

If you really like the blue/gray color better - go for it. You might want to get some of those Totally Toddler wipes to carry in your bag just in case you need to wipe off the seats quickly. I bought mine at Babies R Us. Here's what I'm talking about: https://www.inventiveparent.com/totallytoddler.htm

I use them on the boys' stroller whenever we get a bad spill and so far nothing has stained---we've had the stroller for a year and a half & they can be pretty messy. Also, our stroller allows you to pull off the seat pad and wash it...works great! I didn't notice if your stroller choice allows that---but if it does you could always wash the seats if it gets too bad.

My TT is charcoal and light khaki and doesn't show dirt. I also have a single quest in chili red check and it doesn't show dirt. I just looked at your pics and I see that the whole seat is light blue on the TT - my seats are charcoal - the light khaki is really only an accent on the head rest and the boot. Not sure how well the light blue would hold up - probably depends on how often you are willing to clean your stroller. I can tell you my DDs light pink coat is impossible to keep from looking dingy - i would think the light blue seats would be the same. JMO.
