We're staying at the BWV for the first time this November, and would like to eat at one of its restaurants. Which do you vote for, and why? Any recommendations?

My family had their first trip to FF last June and the meal was incredible. Everyone enjoyed it. Several days later, the children went to Spoodles and came away less than enthralled. The service was not quite up to par and several of their entrees were undercooked or raw. Perhaps it was a bad night.

Comparing just those two places, then FF is going to have the better food.
It is also going to be the more expensive meal.

Spoodles is fine, but the menu is now more limited, from what it used to be years ago.
FF has excellent food, and we have found the service to be excellent as well.

I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this one, but I wasn't impressed with FF. It was good and all, but I was expecting the food to be better after reading all the rave reviews on here. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it just wasn't a total WOW experience.

I do really like Spoodles, and will probably have dinner there on my next visit. I love the Mediterranian Dips.

Personally, if I was staying at BWV, I'd go to both!!!

My one FF dinner was truly excellent; quiet, excellent food and service; kind of a nice break from the theme park atmosphere.

Spoodles is a regular with me; love Mediterranian food!

ff is a signature restaurant, it's a bit better. spoodles is good too in a more casual sort of way.

Last October dh and I went to FF. A few days later, went to Yachtsman.
FF had much more 'imagninative' food while the Yachtsman had a good steak w/some good 'ol potatoes as a side dish. I would put Spoodles in the same category as the Yachtsman. Yes, Yachtsman is 'fancier' but not near as good as FF. .

Hands down, Flying Fish. I have been to both and thought Spoodles was ok, but we had an excellent meal at FF.

Flying Fish is one of the better restaurants at Walt Disney World. Spoodles is good, but it doesn't compare to FF. Enjoy!

Count me in as unimpressed with Flying Fish. We had mediocre, not great service, and have never gone back..

We have consistently had good service and good food at Spoodles, however, and visit it each time we go to WDW.

Another one in the minority who prefers Spoodles. Had dined at Spoodles in
'05 ordering all appetizers and really enjoyed. Returned in Jan. '07 and again had a great meal and service. I thought FF was overrated after reading so many great reviews. I had the charred NY strip. This was the toughest beef I have ever eaten. My husband enjoyed his scallop entree. The service was just ok at best.
