Hi all! Planning our first ever trip to Universal! Quick question- if you had to compare the size of each of the two universal parks to a Disney park, which would it be? For example, is USF about the same size as Magic Kingdom, Epcot, DHS or AK? I am trying to get a feel for how much time we need to walk around.

Thanks!

UOR is much, much, much smaller that WDW, however, each 'park' is pretty comparable in size...IOA and US are comparable in size to each other and comparable in size to MK, DHS, AK...Epcot is laid out around a larger body of water, but is still comparable. Obviously, some parks are going to be a little larger, but no dramatic size difference.

The difference is the space in between...US and IOA, as well as VB and the surrounding onsite Hotels are all well within walking distance of one another, whereas WDW is spread very far apart. It is simpler and quicker to park hop at UOR, but there are more things to do at WDW...and WDW has a lot more room for future expansion.

Studios are roughly 125 acres a bit smaller than Disney's Hollywood Studios
Islands of Adventure around 110 acres roughly the size of Magic Kingdom

Animal Kingdom (510 acres) and EPCOT (260 acres) can't be compared.
