Which dinner show?

We decided to do 1 of the 3 dinner shows on our next trip. Which one would do you guys think we should choose? The Luau, Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Hoop De Doo Revue? We have 8 adults and 1 child(2 years old). Any reviews would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have read excellent reviews about Hoop Dee Doo so that's what we are trying!

If you take a look at the menus and reviews, I think you'll see that the target demographic for the Mickey BBQ is young children and their self sacrificing parents. I wouldn't recommend it for an adult group.

We've been to HDDR many times and have always enjoyed the show. It really does have something for all age groups. And the all you care to drink beer, wine and sangria doesn't hurt either. It is a funny, corny, family friendly, foot stompin show. The food is home style ribs, chicken, salad, beans, and corn.

The luau appeals to some folks. Having been to a couple of luaus in Hawaii and Tahiti, I found both the food and the performances lacking. But some people like it.

Our party of 8 did the Hoop Dee Doo back in March. It was an awesome experience. Food was wonderful and the show was a lot of fun. We are going back to the Mouse in September and we are going to try the Luau. The Backyard BBQ was booked already. So I can only give you advice on the HDDMR, and it definitely was worth it.

We've only done the luau and we enjoyed it. We thought the food was very good and while the show was a little cheesy in parts, the fire dancers at the end were great and overall it was a fun show. With that said, I have read a lot of good things about HDDR.

We've done all of the shows several times and enjoyed each for different reasons. Mickey backyard BBQ is great for kids but your 2 yr old May be too young to totally enjoy the experience yet and the adults will find it kind of okay since it's BBQ food and character experience. The luau we liked the least food is good but the show was just okay for us, but we've been to Hawaii to authentic luaus so I guess we expected more. Hoop de doo review is really the best food and show of the 3 options in my opinion. A nice evening for everyone and it's indoors witch is nice as well. : )

We have done all three as well, (me, DH and DS8) but we only did the Luau and Backyard BBQ once. That was enough, we won't need to go back. HDDR we've done twice and will be doing in September after a break of about 2 years. Love the music and show, love the food, love the atmosphere.

HDDR wins hands down for us and would be the best for an adult group in my opinion.

We did HDDR for the first time in March and had a wonderful time! The show was great and the food was too! Couldn't recommend it more!

Definitely Hoop de Doo. The show is funny enough for adults to be entertained and the 2 year old should enjoy it as well! Lots of music and fun and the food is so good! It's an annual must-do for my family.

HDDR!!!!!!! Always my first night venture and a perfect way to start the vacation!

I've done the Luau and found myself incredibly bored. I mean, the show was good and the food was good, but it was LONG... at least it felt way longer than it should have. The best part of the show was the fire dancer and I think the fire dancer at FoTLK is better any way!

Hoop Dee Doo for sure. My sister and my daughter both wanted to see it again and again. Luau is nice but it's a "one time and its enough" type of event. Also, Luau is much better in Hawaii.
