Which Dinner Show???

Hi, we need your opinions please!! Wanting to try something new, a dinner show!

Which do you all prefer, there are 2 adults (my sister and I and my 10 yr old niece) for show, food and value (in that order):

The Luau at Polynisian
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Hoop De Doo Revue

We are going the 9-16 of dec.... thanks!

No opinion of any of the shows, just an FYI - Mickeys BBQ ends at during December, so if you are going to choose that one, you neen to make sure its actually running during your stay.

We just got back today and we did mickeys BBQ Tuesday night. We enjoyed it a lot. I thought the food was great. There were hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. it was all you can eat. I'm not picky though.

ok, mickey's bbq seems to only have 2 shows during my stay, and both are booked

so it's either luau or hoop de doo.... i am guessing hoop de doo?

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a GREAT show for people of all ages. The Poly Luau is "just okay," in my opinion. Never been to Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.

Another vote for Hoop de doo. It is much, much better a show than the Aloha show. Hoop is one of those shows that you have to experience at least once!!!

I've been to both. The Luau used to be alot better than it is now. It's now turned into this lame kids story & bad food.

HDDR was one of the best nights in WDW that we have ever had! & I agree with the PP's-it is fun for all ages. The only negative is it can be a pain to get to. But it is well worth the trek!!

I really think it's a great show for all ages. I've been multiple times, and can't wait to return this January. I went to Spirit of Aloha once back in 2011, and it was a total disappointment.

I've heard fantastic things about Hoop-de-Doo.

I've been to the luau. I actually did like the food, and the second half of the show was good, but I don't think I'd do it again.

Do NOTTTTTT do the Luau! It was awful. Try Hoop de Doo I havent beenin years but enjoyed it when I did go

I have done all the shows. Hoop De Doo is our favorite we have been to Disney four times and have done it every year!! Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a lot of fun also this would be my second choice. The Luau we did on our last trip and although I'm glad we had the experience I will most likely never do it again!! HAVE A GREAT VACAY AND TRAVEL SAFE!!

We did the HDDR many years ago when we only had 2 kiddos and my middle (very picky now) one was a baby. I would love to do it again, but that picky one will not anything BBQ and I'm not sure on bone in fried chicken either. Any chance they would do tenders?
