We're going to be at MK on July 23 and I'm trying to decide if we want to make a lunch reservation or a dinner one.

Here's what's available:
lunch times*
Liberty Tree 1pm, 1:30pm
Crystal Palace 12:55, 1:10pm, 1:25pm
Plaza 12:05pm, 1:10pm
Tony's Town Sq 12:50pm, 1:05, 1:40pm

dinner times*
Liberty Tree 5:20, 7:40pm
Crystal Palace 4:40, 7:25pm
Plaza Rest 5:15, 7:20pm
Tony's Town Sq 5:50, 7:15pm

I'm trying to maximize our day at MK and def want to see a parade/fireworks too if we can fit it in so feel free to comment on that as well !!!

I'd do either liberty tree or crystal palace for lunch. We love both places, and we always try to do our big meal early. That way we are in the air conditioning during the hottest part of the day, it doesn't interfere with parades, its cheaper, and crowds usually start thinking out at dinner time, so its a great time to ride, not be sitting in a restaurant.

Have you concidered doing a later dinner ADR, and going to a monorail resort? In general, the sit down places inside of MK aren't the best quality, so thats why I'm suggesting it. If your set on doing a meal in the park (for the obvious reasons of it being in the park) then I would choose Tony's :)

I did consider doing an outside meal but I'm nervous we won't be able to get back in the park due to crowds. We're only doing the 1 day and I'd hate to leave and not be able to get back in.

You should' t have a problem getting back in due to crowds, but I would just do lunch at Liberty Tree. It will give you an hour or so out of the crowds and during the hottest part of the day.

If your only there one day, then yeah, stay there and eat! :thumbsup2 I would suggest, since your going in the summer, do a late lunch. That way your in the AC during the hottest part of the day, and usually during the daily rain. :)

I would do lunch at Crystal palace because it's a character meal so it feels like part of the park experience. And because with a long day at the park I like a bit. of a chance to sit.

No real opinion on where to eat. We like The Plaza but easily do CS at MK all day. That said, I vote for lunch time ADR. We like the rest. We are off our feet and in air conditioning for a good while so we can skip the "daily break" every one here suggests. It works for our family.

I'd go to Tony's with younger kids for lunch. Cheaper prices than for dinner and a great Lady and the Tramp theme for the young ones.
