Which dining plan has the most snack credits?

It seems our 30th anniversary trip next year coincides with the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. I've read some descriptions, and it seems snack credits can be used at a number of the food booths. We'd love to sample food from different countries, and are thrilled our visit will coincide with this event. Our reserved package has the Deluxe Dining Plan, and I'm wondering how many snack credits the two of us will have for our eight day trip. We're arriving on a Saturday, and won't head over to Epcot until Tuesday, as we hear the crowds are crazy on the weekend during the festival, so I'm wondering if we should pay cash for drinks at the park before we hit the festival, so we'll have snack credits to use at the booths.

Or, should we just use our snacks at the parks, as planned, and buy a gift card at the festival to use for booth purchases, and save our snack credits for drinks at the parks?

We're getting a Disney Visa, so hopefully, we'll have some gift cards in hand that we can perhaps use at the festival.

The DxDP is the only plan that retains 2 snack credits per person per night of the reservation. On the whole, my understanding is that F&WF is an excellent value use of snack credits, so I would pay for drinks elsewhere OOP and use credits at F&WF rather than the other way around.

You said 8 days, so I'm assuming 7 nights -- that's 14 snack credits per person in addition to all of the meals.

So, we're arriving Saturday, probably midday, and checking out of the hotel the following Saturday, probably flying out mid afternoon. We're getting the 8day Park Hopper pass so we can have two half days day of arrival and departure.

I'm planning on Epcot for midweek, and in the evenings, perhaps, when the crowds are less during the festival.

Since we plan to "eat our way" through the festival, I may even not make ADR for those days, so we can be spontaneous and enjoy both Epcot and the food booths.

So, we'll have 28 snack credits to use between the 2 of us! Oh, what fun!

I suspect you'll have enough snack credits that you won't need to pay for any "snacks" out of pocket.
