Which dessert should I get at Chefs des France?

I was looking at the menu at Allears for Chefs des France. We are eating there for the first time when we go to Disney in 2 weeks. I don't know which dessert to get. Does anyone have any opinions on the Profiteroles au chocolat or the Creme Brulee?:confused3

Any reviews or insight on either? TIA!

Had the profiteroles on Dec. 8. They were ok but they were drowned in a plate of chocolate sauce and were messy.

I had the same thing in August and by the time my daughter (who I was sharing with) and I were done we were covered. Tasted good but very messy. The other desserts looked good at too. We sat near the dessert bar. I loved watching them.

We ha the creme brulee once and it was very burnt on top and was pretty gross. I have had the profiteroles twice and they are excellent!

We just had the creme brulee last week and loved it. I'm very picky about how much caramelized sugar is on top (I don't want much) and I was very pleased. I'd guess that's chef-specific, though.

I haven't had the profiteroles in several years but the last time I got them they were too tough and chewy for me to enjoy (more the consistency of the overdone, IMO, baguettes we got with our meal) so I haven't tried them again. I'm not much for French pastries, though, so maybe that's what profiteroles are supposed to be like.

We ate there last week and my wife had the profiteroles while I had the creme Brulee. Of course we both sampled each others deserts and the consensus was that the creme brulee was the better choice.

Profiteroles au chocolat, that's what I get!

I love, love the profiteroles- that dark chocolate ganache is wonderful!

I had the creme brule and it was the BEST at this restaurant.
I ate every last bite. LOL

We ate there last night. The chocolate mousse cake with vanilla ice cream was REALLY good. My DH had the crepe- said it was ok. Just to give you another option.

Always a tough choice for our family but the general consensus says the Creme Brule is best.

I vote for creme brulee. It's my favorite dessert and it's always delicious there. Even when I am stuffed I can find the room to finish it! LOL

Really, you're asking this on the DIS? Um, how about picking what you feel like having at that moment? It's always worked for me. Wow, just wow.

If they're serving any kind of mousse cake, go with that! I've had probably 3 or 4 different varieties of their mousse cake over the years, the last of which was chocolate-orange, and every time they are fabulous. Every time I've had them, they've come with either ice cream or sorbet as well, and sometimes some fresh fruit. Fab, and I don't even like dessert very much.

I've had both of those desserts and they are both good. I've also enjoyed their sorbet! I don't think you can go wrong with any dessert at Chefs.

These are the two desserts that DBF and I chose while dining there on Dec. 3rd. I had the vanilla creme brulee, and looooooooved it. It was light and creamy and the perfect end to what was an otherwise heavy meal. I had a bite of DBFs profiteroles, and while I thought it was good, I MUCH preferred my creme brulee and was very happy with my choice. :goodvibes

I think I'll do this. DH can have one and I will have the other, so we can share. Thanks everyone! This is one of the meals that I'm most looking forward to.
