Which deluxe for first week of December?

Hopefully there will be a discount code coming out for our Dec 1-9 trip. Crossing our fingers With the discount we are hoping that the difference could be put towards upgrading us from CSR to a deluxe resort. Of course this is all in the event that there is a discount and room availability at a deluxe.

I am having a hard time deciding between a few for different reasons. So which out of these listed below would be the best as far as decorations, celebrating a 6th birthday, and just overall theme?

Animal Kingdom Lodge
Wilderness Lodge
Polynesian
Yacht Club
Beach Club

I'm leaning towards AKL because I find it fascinating. Though I'm concerned with the construction and the relocating guests. Hmm...what to do, what to do? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

We're staying at the Poly. We absolutely love it and always seem to go back there, even when we want to try something new.

I think you're going to get a lot of people that are going to say you should stay at the GF because of the Christmas decorations, even though it's not on your list.

You're also going to get a lot of people that will say that the Poly's decorations are the worst for Christmas. I've heard it too. I'm there for a vacation. My Christmas is already different because I'm not at home!

Just thought you'd like to know that the first week of December has become a popular time for WDW trips. Most of the resorts you have listed are already sold out for your dates. I did a quick search and the only resorts that are showing availability are WL (Courtyard View/bunkbed) and AKL (Savannah View & Savannah View with bunkbed).

Yes, I have checked...but we are willing to stay at the AKL in the savanna view which is available and the WL courtyard bunkbeds which is available. Of course that is if the discount will be available. Guess I should have narrowed it down to just them two. Hopefully the rooms are being held for some reason, because I would hate to know that all rooms in all resorts are booked. AHH!!
