20s-40s... idk why, it's always fasinated me. the war romanticized, how strong our nation was and how women took on jobs and 'mens work'. plus the struggle of the depression and how we addjusted to it and helped others out. i was also a sucker for american girl dool books as a child... so maybe that adds to it too
