Okay, I read these comments:

"Don't go to Epcot during the week because that's when local schools take their fieldtrips" -- We're going Easter break, Thurs. - Mon., April 20 - 24...and Orlando schools WILL be in session (though most everyone else will probably be vacationing then also :) )

"Don't go to MK first. Your kids will judge the rest of the parks by MK and will be disappointed" -- kids are 12, 9, 7, & 5

I've got a 5 day pass. Which parks on which days do you suggest? Are some days more populated than others??? Should we go to AK on the first day, Thursday, and going to Hoop-De-Doo-Revue at Ft. Wilderness - calling it an early evening so we can get up early to do MK? Keep Epcot on the weekend? Should we skip MGM all together and do 2 days of MK & Epcot???

I'm starting to get confused trying to plan the "perfect" trip...
THANKS!

I don't think there is a "perfect trip" but you can still have a great time. Easter is one of the buisest times of the year. That being said the best advice I could give you is keep reading the Dis boards. If you haven't already make some ADR's. If you really want to do the HDDR, because it does eat up park time then I'd say you're right on doing that after going to AK. With the amount of time you have I would probably do 2 days in MK and then 1 day in the rest of the parks. Don't worry about seeing everything because you can't, not in that amount of time. Be at the parks early is also a big thing. Have fun planning.

Stay away from any park that has a Extra Magic Hour- even if you are eligible to attend! They are by far the most crowded.
Similarly- the "best" park to attend is one that had a EMH the night before!
Good Luck!

I may get flamed for this, but I highly suggest subscribing to Tour Guide Mike if you are planning to visit during Easter Week. That is one of the busiest weeks of the year and TGMike will tell you exactly which parks to be in on every day of the week. He bases this info. on his own personal experience as a CM and his own VIP tour business. I have used his advice several times, including summer, Memorial Day, Jersey week, and December. I think it is very worthwhile. His website is www.tourguidemike.com. If anything, you can just check out his site and then decide if you would like to subscribe. BTW, he does offer a money back gurantee if you aren't satisfied. HTH.
