Which day at Thanksgiving?

I vaguely remember from my trip two years ago, the closer it got to Thanksgiving, the heavier the crowds. For example, we were shocked to see how uncrowded the park was the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We won dream fast passes and never needed them. So this year, I am wondering, would the Sunday before Thanksgiving be better than the Monday before? I know Sunday is a weekend so there would be more locals, but Monday may bring in more of the holiday crowd. Any one have thoughts on this?

When we went two years ago, we felt a big difference between the Sunday and Monday before Thanksgiving. The Sunday was way less crowded. Last year, both the Sunday and Monday (and Tuesday and Wednesday) felt really busy. Things started to slow down for Thanksgiving and the day after. Many people are basing their plans on last year's crowd patterns, and it would be great for them if that pans out. The thing is though that things were different last year, and it's too early to say yet whether this was an anomaly or the beginning of a trend.
