Which date shall I go for?

I'm looking to go to DLP for the 1st time and have a choice of dates.

Either Sun 17th Feb 2008 (with Mon/Tues in park)

OR

Mon 7 April 2008 (with Tues/Weds in park)

Staying at either the Sequoia, Newport Bay or Cheyenne.

Both dates are half-term at my kids school but I understand that Easter half-term varies around the country in 2008 with some being in March.

When would you recommend and do you think it will be mega busy??

I would go for the February date.

As, even though its half term, the Feb half term varies around the schools too, and usually only half of the English schools are off at the same time in Feb. With Easter school holidays, not only are English schools off, but Scottish, Irish, Welsh and other European countries have school holidays all around the same time.

We were at DLRP for the first time at Feb half term this year, and it was fine - not dead quiet, but not mega busy either. We went midweek, Monday to Wednesday. It wasn't freezing cold either - we wore fleeces out of the hotel in the morning, but by lunchtime they were off and we were carrying them.

If it helps our kids school is back after Easter on 2nd April (Midlands) so even that could be ok in terms of not everyone being off school still as Easter is so early this year.

I found that flights are pricier on Sundays and more limited than midweek.
