Which date of Halloween party will be least crowded?

We have narrowed our choices down to two days for MNSSHP- either Tues 10/14 (day after Columbus day) or Thurs 10/16. We are taking DD1, so we will probably only stay at the party a few hours. Which date do you think would be less crowded? I would think most people who are going for Columbus day weekend would go to the party the Fri before. DH is leaning towards Tues. Any thoughts?

Honestly, I think you will be fine with either date. As long as you stay away from the weekends (that includes Fridays) or the actual day of Halloween, you'll be fine.
We went back in Oct. of 2000 on the Tuesday right before Halloween and it was not crowded at all.

We chose 10/16 thinking that it might be less crowded than 10/14 because of the Columbus Day crowds that may have stayed an extra day only to find out that some Orlando schools have a mini-break that weekend starting 10/15. I'm sure it will still be less crowded than a weekend MNSSHP date though and we're hoping for a great time.

We chose the Oct 14 party - so I hope that's the one that is the least crowded!!! LOL

Like the other posters, I think a week night would be less crowded - we've gone to MVMCP three times, all on a week night early in Dec - and its never been crowded!!

If yall decide on Oct 14 - maybe we'll see you there!!! Have fun!!
