Here are my two options. We get an evening without my 3 yr old in WDW thanks to my parents. This is for next Tuesday :dumbo:

Option 1:
Dinner at Teppan Edo (ate here on our last trip and loved it)
After Dinner, walk around EPCOT and have some drinks.

Option 2:
Dinner at Ohana (have never had dinner here only breakfast so I don't know what it's like)
Drinks at Trader Sams

I want the second one......he wants the first one. Lol so I am looking for opinions to break the tie.

Either meal is pretty much a communal event. In my mind walking around Epcot after dark with a drink or two is more romantic, while Trader Sam's is a more raucous experience. We enjoy both, so it depends on which you're looking for.

Of those 2, without a doubt Option 1. Besides not personally being a fan at all of the food (dry, tasteless and bland) and the service always being subpar, the atmosphere itself is not what I would consider date night worthy. There are kids running all over the place and it is just loud and, quite honestly, awful. While I am also not a fan of TE (we have much better places around here), walking around the WS at night can be very nice and romantic. Maybe your parents will be nice enough to watch your kid a little longer so you can walk around the Boardwalk after EC closes. The Boardwalk is really nice to walk around and you can stop for funnel cake or something from the Boardwalk Bakery before heading back to your resort. A round at Fantasia Gardens (mini golf) is also nice at night. I think Option 1 can lead to more options.

I've never eaten at Teppan, but agree with the PP that walking around Epcot would be much more fun after dinner.
We do love the food at Ohana & that dessert

I love Ohana but would rather walk around the WS holding hands for date night.

I haven't been to Ohana - but after two date nights with my DH our last trip (and two more this trip) - World Showcase without the kiddos was at the top of our list! This time we are dropping them at the Sandcastle Club - going to Epcot as late a possible then heading to Yachtsman and maybe a few drinks on the Boardwalk before picking up the munchkins. :) Last time we had dinner at Le Cellier. Not sure if you are open to it - but kids tend to love the fun of watching them cook at Teppan Edo - you could make that a family meal and then pick something more intimate for date night. :)

Option one sounds nice, but would your husband be open to a compromise?? He wants TE, you want 'Ohana. What about Rose and Crown during fireworks, or San Angel Inn Restaurante. Or, you could go to Flying Fish or Yacchtsman Steakhouse, followed by enjoying Epcot after dinner.

Whatever you two agree on, Happy Anniversary!!!!

No decision for me, Teppan Edu! I think that no matter where you are in Disney you will be surrounded by kids, but 'Ohana will be close to not being on a date night, IMO. I woudl choose walking aroung Epcot even if I did not have dinner in a heartbeat.
