Which crowd calendar do you trust the most?

I don't find any of them to be particularly accurate right now. There is much speculation that this is due to Disney cutting staffing levels much more aggressively when there aren't huge crowds, thereby decreasing capacity at the rides, and making even light attendance days feel busy due to long lines.

What ever the real reason, go expecting a 7 or 8 crowd day at best, and you shouldn't be disappointed.

I figure if I expect every day to be christmas/new years crowds and it isn't, it's a good day.

Although my last few trips I've been awfully spoiled with crowd levels of 1s and 3s...I'm guessing those days are loooooooong gone

I trust KTP to at least indicate which park or parks will have the lightest crowds on a given day. We always go late Oct to early Nov and know what to expect crowd-wise so we're just looking to avoid the heaviest crowd, whatever 'heavy' might mean.

easywdw is pretty good too! I've found their crowd calendar to be very accurate. It is our primary source for our trips.

Hijacking the thread for a minute, which site has the most accurate touring plans, in your opinions?

Just got an email from Touring Plans on changes of crowd in parks during my stay in Oct. Still don't believe Epcot will be a 5(went up from 4) on a Sunday in Oct. Hope I'm wrong.

But I love Touring Plans. Its my kind of planning.

I subscribe to TP. Then check some of the others. Their predictions are all very, very similar. One or two points off on a few days but exactly the same on others. Touring Plans seems to update first but within a few days the others end up with the same numbers.

I believe that site suspended new calendars some time ago which is why I sought out KTP.

Yes, Josh no longer updates those. I did the same...went to KTP but not sure it matters much anymore.

I think Crowd Calendars are helpful with general planning -- in which case I really think all of them are about equal. But the last two trips (in Oct 2016 and Jan 2018) all of the calendars were way off with crowds. I've pretty much just come to the conclusion that I'm no longer going to make plans based on calendars. Disney has had a lot of success filling up the parks in what used to be slower seasons and they don't release the information they used to that calendars were based on (as far as I understand it), so the crowd calendars seem like an exercise in futility that has ended in my disappointment.

Yeah, none of the above. Predictor calendars are just no longer accurate.
