our next visit to wdw will be with our muchkin who will be 7 this time. I'd love to hear your views on the best concierge level for him. We were at Beach club concierge last year after cruise on the Dream. No comparison in concierge, The Dream won hands down. We don't want to be disappointed again, :(

Our kids loved the BWI CL. The CMs were wonderful - they went out of their way to talk to our kids about our day at the end of the day. Some of them would remember where we went and would ask the kids about it the next day. The BC CL is hit or miss. We have been there several times and the CMs were very nice but not as good as BWI CL. We also did GF SF and loved the food choices but the CMs were not that friendly at all. Never went to be social with any of the kids or us. We are trying the YC CL this summer.

What services and amenities are you looking for when you stay Club Level? (Disney doesn't have "concierge" rooms).

Each of the lounges will have their own distinct array of snacks and beverage choices. I happen to like the Poly's lounge because it is always accessible for sodas and coffee. The view of the castle at night is beautiful and you can relax in the lounge, enjoy a snack and watch the fireworks in air-conditioned comfort because they dim the lights and pipe in the soundtrack for Wishes. For me, it is by far the very best feature of the Poly CL lounge.

I was disappointed with beach club after dream club level. On the dream we were all welcomed back into the lounge, your drinks were remembered, if you wanted something arranged, and it was not available then alternatives would be suggested. It was a disappointment at the Beach Club. There was a lovely lady Hyacinth, who was on a par with the dream team, but the other staff were polite but indifferent. We were not made to feel special there, so want to make sure that we don't feel that way again, especially as we love coming to wdw

In fairness, it will be different at the resorts than it will on the ships. The ships are more intimate.

I agree about the Poly, but didn't suggest it because of the construction right now. OP, if that doesn't bother you, than you might enjoy it there, too. Or the GF. I thought your 7 yr old might enjoy the animals at AKL, and we thought the CL amenities there were very nice, although there wasn't a lot of interaction with staff there - for us, anyway.

Thank you so much for your advice. I'll do further research on those hotels and see which one will be best for us.
