Which concerts did you have the most fun attending?

Believe it or not - The Backstreet Boys at Jones Beach, NY. The fans were a little older and everyone sang along with them.

Trans Siberian Orchestra was great but our seats were too high, I like sitting a little closer.

I am a member of the Peter Noone Fan Club. (Herman's Hermits) (That makes me an official Noonatic!:rotfl:)

I've been to many of Peter's concerts but whenever Peter appears at Epcot for the Flower Power concert series, I'm in heaven!:cloud9:

22 yrs ago I went to see him with a girlfriend of mine whose boyfriend played guitar in his band. We were backstage and I asked where to get a beer and Peter Noone smiled and handed me his. I don't normally drink from others cups, but how could I say no? So I can say I literally shared a beer with Peter Noone!

Dave Matthews was a great concert and front row at Tom Petty was awesome. But being the Dis resident Bob Dylan fan I'll have to say last year at a Bob concert. I have tickets to see him on the 16th of this month and can't wait!

The all-time best was seeing Kid Rock back in '96 before he really went national, in a dive in Kalamazoo that I wasn't even old enough to get into. That was an awesome night, Kid Rock bought me a beer and I've still got the flyer he signed for me. And when he got up on stage he did his set, which was more rap than anything else back then and not really my kind of music, then sat down with an acoustic guitar and said he was going to play "until there wasn't a single MF left to listen". We were there well past closing time.

After that would have to be Kid Rock, Metallica, and Ted Nugent, New Years Eve '99/Y2K at the Silverdome (Detroit Lions old stadium). We were main floor right up near the stage, standing section, and it was wild! They all came out on stage together for the countdown, and played Detroit Rock City right at midnight.

And for the experience as much as the music, Woodstock '99 has to rank right up there too. Three days of almost no sleep, the road trip to get there and back, all of it was just a classic 20-something "freedom" experience.

My absolute favorites have been Trans Siberian Orchestra (3x). What's not to love about long hair, electric guitars and fiddles, and tuxedoes!?!?

The other one was a Beach Boys concert. Ages ran from 5 to 75 and when they came on stage, no one sat down again, which is saying something as it was an amphitheater. Best part, everyone knew the words.

My all time favorites are Rod Stewart, Billy Joel with Elton John, and believe it or not - Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Oh wait a second, I have to throw Metallica in there, they were pretty freaking awesome.

New Kids on The Block Tour 2 years ago in Boston..\

Billy Joel

Jonas Brother's Camp Rock Tour because the girls had so much fun!

New Kids on the Block last summer. I went with a huge group of girlfriends and ran into people I hadn't seen in almost a decade. It seemed like EVERYONE from high school was there, lol. We got unexpected ticket upgrades for being in the right place at the right time and being friendly to the right usher. We did Jello shots in the parking lot and just partyed our buns off to those old songs all night long. It was just pure fun!

Earth Wind and Fire and James Brown.. wow!

I remember seeing Patty Labelle as a teenager at the Brooklyn Fox. She was in a group called Patty Labelle and the Bluebells. She sang Danny Boy a capella and I don't remember hearing anything that beautiful before or after. :lovestruc

I also remember seeing Stevie Wonder as a young boy at the Fox, too. He played Fingertips on the harmonica and would NOT get off the stage! He was aMAZING! :cool1:

Van Halen - Sept. 2007 (Charlotte, NC)
Tour kick off w/David Lee Roth back as lead singer - their first concert together since 1985!! Awesome!!

In the past: BNL, .... and Mannheim Steamroller's Xmas concert, it was just so beautiful and festive.

recently: Green Day: high energy, entertaining, and I love how they interact with the teens in the audience!!!:)

:wizard:

I have to say U2 the Pop tour, at Foxboro stadium :) so much fun!

also the Prince Purple Rain tour ( showing my AGE) LOL

Aerosmith!

Hearing my husband and my two kids sing along was a huge thrill for me.

I would love to see Aerosmith and take my family along as well. We are all huge fans.

My favorite concerts would probably be the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Buffet - and I'm not even a Jimmy Buffet fan.

I saw Patty Labelle in concert once when I was in college, she has an amazing voice!

Garth Brooks twice in a week... amazing guy! Tim McGraw I got to see him before his dad died.. he brought him out on stage and they did a duet together.. Sawyer Brown was also amazing.. SOOOOOOOO much fun that night!! Yes if you can't tell I'm a country person.

Saw TransSiberian Orchestra last year. It was awesome! High enrgy, amazing light show and just love their christmas music.

We have tickets for TransSiberian Orchestra for December. I am glad I see them here twice. We normally have made a tradition of going to the Boston Pops Christmas concert but DD wanted to shake things up a bit this year. Looking forward to seeing them.

Oh, and I was half asleep when I replied earlier so I have to add Aerosmith to my list. I got tickets for a Mother's Day gift a couple of years ago and the three of us went and had a blast. :cool1:

Garth Brooks for the energy factor and Simon and Garfunkel (Old Friends tour) for the best sound system ever.

Elton John -- I've seen him several times at Madison Square Garden, and each time has been a blast.

I also saw Elton John and Billy Joel together in Philadelphia. Awesome.
