Which coffee packets do the machines at the Poly take

I enjoy a couple of cups of coffee in the morning before facing the world. I'd like to bring extra coffee that would work in the in-room coffee machine. Does anyone know which types of coffee packets they take. Thanks.

The coffee makers are standard 4-cup drip models. They take any coffee that is packaged in 4-cup servings. They do not take the pre-measured plastic coffee pods that many manufacturers produce to fit their kitchen models. I have heard of some who take loose ground coffee and small paper filters. We usually take the pre-packaged 4-ounce packets since they are easier to use and less messy. Check you larger local supermarkets. They usually have a selection of brands that pre-package in 4-cup packets.

I'm guessing the coffee makers are the same at all the deluxe resorts. We've only stayed at AKL and POR but with the coffee makers there, you can use any coffee you like. The regular size basket filters fit just fine even though not intended for a 4 cup coffeemaker. We always bring our own Starbucks and 12 cup filters. Nothing starts off the day like a good cup of coffee... and the swill that Disney supplies in the rooms hardly counts as coffee. Bring your own, you won't be sorry.
