Which Christmas Party?

If you had to decide on which evening to attend the Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom (MVMCP), which of the following evenings in December would you plan to attend, and why?

Sunday, 6th
Tuesday, 8th
Thursday, 10th
Friday, 11th

Maybe others can correct me here, but I think a couple of Tuesdays SOLD OUT last year, and not for any particular reason. I know I was at one of them last year on the 16th, and others told me that the 9th had sold out too.

I vote for Thursday. We were ALSO there on the 18th (a Thursday) and it was a lighter crowd.

I have also heard Sunday nights are slower, so that would be a good choice too.

I guess I'm the odd man out, we always go for Sunday because the past few years when we have been there they have kept the MK open until 3 am. We're night owls, so although you have to put up with a bit of a crowd early, after midnight the crowd tended to thin out quite rapidly, and by 1 we were able to walk on pretty much every ride we wanted.

You are thinking of the EMH, which is not the case here. The question was on MVMCP, which always ends at midnight.

Yes, I am thinking of the EMH, but the past two times we were there for MVMCP (2006 and 2007, last year we went in Oct.) they kept the park open until 3 am the night we went to it.

Very odd, I've never heard of such a thing. I certainly would not buy a ticket thinking this would happen.....

I've had good luck on a Sunday and on a Thursday (walked on everything on those nights). Big crowds on a Tuesday. I know that some things you can predict, but I don't think you can predict this one, other than not going on a Friday or Saturday night.

Yeah, watch, this year everyone will have heard about the Tuesday sell outs and all go on Thursday! There's just no way to know....

Or you could do what we're doing for MNSSHP this year: Go Tuesday AND Thursday!
