I know they have opened new place's but which ones (new or old) would be good for a 3 year old for Character Meals? And which meal is the best (breakfast, lunch or dinner)? She loves Chef Mickeys and Akeshus with the princess, but need a few more Character Meals. We've done Sci Fi and 50's Prime Time that aren't Character meals, but want to add as many Character meals as we can. What about 1900 Park Fare (maybe dinner)?Any help would be great.

We love Crystal Palace (Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore)! We've always gone for dinner but I hear breakfast is good as well. Great character interaction, great food and the restaurant is lovely. We just did 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and thought it was excellent (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger). The food and service was excellent, characters were great and the restaurant is very pretty. We've never had dinner there so I can't speak to that. We really like Tusker House (Safari Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy), we've had dinner there and enjoy the food. The characters do a cute parade around the restaurant with the kids that is really fun. If you are staying near the Beach Club, Cape May Cafe has a great breakfast with the characters (Minnie, Goofy and Donald) in swim attire.

My kids will be 3 and 5. My son wants Mickey, my daughter loves Cinderella, the little mermaid, and she is obsessed with Sofia.

Tusker House lunch
chef Mickey breakfast

My 3YO daughter really enjoyed Crystal Palace. Character interaction with Pooh and Friends was great! We had an 8:30 PPO breakfast, and getting to leisurely walk thru, see the castle, and head to breakfast was pretty neat.

She also loved Ohana breakfast. I was a little surprised by this one as we haven't watched Lilo and Stich a lot, but she thought he was great. Plus you get Mickey and Pluto again.

And Hollywood and Vine. She loves Sofia and Doc McStuffins, and we got more time with the characters there than anywhere.

One she wasn't crazy about that surprised me was 1900 Park Fare dinner. We thought the stepmother and stepsisters were a hoot, but I think she didn't like them because they're bad to Cinderella (who is her fave princess). In the picture with Lady Tremaine, my daughter looks like we are punishing her, and Drizella's voice scared her a bit.

As for meal times, my kids always love breakfast best, but the trade off is that we are missing some valuable ride time. So we did a couple breakfasts (one on non park day), but switched it up with some other meal times too. This year I plan to try out some late breakfasts and see if that works with our family.

My kids have always loved the Garden Grill (and our sad we are skipping it this time for Tusker House.) At that age, they also liked the Crystal Palace.

Another vote for Crystal Palace at MK, and Tusker House at AK, we used to always go to Chef Mickeys and it was wonderful, now it is overpriced and half of the wonderful offerings they were famous for are off the menu. We do 1900 park fare dinner every time, but for a 3 year old, I would discourage it, when my girls were younger it was Cinderella, the Prince and the 2 mice, which was great, now they have the stepsisters and they are fun, but not for a 3 year old. We are going in 2 months and both of my daughters are opting out of 1900 PF for the first time, we are doing Akerhshus, Tusker, Crystal Palace, BOG, and CRT this trip.

My boys were 2.5 and 4 when we were there and we did Akershus, Hollywood & Vine, Be Our Guest Dinner and Crystal Palace. They loved all of them. I think character-wise H&V was their favorite (though the food was awful), the dance party part was fun and they loved meeting the Disney Jr. Characters (who they love). I was suprised by how much enjoyed meeting Beast, my older son has mentioned wanting ti do it again and they liked the atmosphere of hte castle.

Another vote for CP brft. We love the food, especially the puffy French toast and made-to-order omelettes, characters are great for that age, and beautiful view of the castle. We like to do PPO brft to get in early for pics on Main St. And then be ready to jump on rides after. Or on EMH day do late brft after getting several rides in. We also love Tusker House, and Cape May Cafe is very relaxed.

Crystal Palace (Pooh characters)
Tusker House (Donald's Safari)
Hollywood & Vine (Disney Junior @ breakfast and lunch)

Hollywood and Vine was a HUGE hit with my kids. We did the breakfast twice one visit.

Tusker for lunch was good also.

Crystal Palace was meh for us but probably because it was the most busy and impersonal. We also weren't big fans of Cape May but the costumes were cute.

My daughter was scared of Stitch at Ohana which paved the way for a hilarious pic of Goofy (or is it Pluto?!) eating my daughter's head.

Don't discount Biergarten! Sure it's not character per se but it was highly entertaining for my young kids.
