Which character meals are good for 2 adults with no kids!?!

Do you guys think we'll look silly being the only adults there with no children? :confused3

OF COURSE NOT!!!!!!

Thus says the "child-like, slightly immaturish" nearly 38 year old.... :rotfl2:

I've yet to have seen any character meals that you couldn't enjoy as an adult and not feel out of place due to lack of children.....

we really like the Garden Grill. Great character interaction, fairly quiet.

ARE you Out of your mind!!!!! you took a reservation from a lil girl so that your butt could sit with cinderella. I think that is horrible and that anyone that does that should be ashamed of themselves!..

Thats my opiniio, and im sticking by it

Wha.....?

I think someone needs to:

1) Switch to Decaf
2) Get into the Disney Spirit

My 2 Mouse Ears worth. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

My DH and I have gone to Crystal Palace everytime including 4 times before their were wee ones. He wouldn't go to WDW if he couldn't have Crystal Palace Breakfast!

I'm sorry you feel this way.

In the back of my mind I do feel a little selfish about making a reservation for a character meal. At the same time I feel like everyone should have the right to share a positive experience. Maybe someday Disney will create an adult only character meal but somehow I doubt it. If I knew my seat would have belonged to an anxious child waiting to meet their favorite character then I would gladly give it up.

Yes, I believe Disney is for children but I also believe it's for families, the young, old and everyone else in between. :)

it has nothing to do with not having disny spirit. Enjoy yourselves and the resort. Dont take away the memory of a child for your own selfish endulgence.
Disney in my opinion is for the children first, then the adults
there should be an adult only chacter meal, for the people that feel the need to see cinderella. (some girl in a blue dress) Its a sin that someones child cant see their idol, because some over aged 30 year old kid kid wanted to have that seat instead

Hmmm..... I understand what you're trying to say but I do believe Walt would've wanted all his guests to enjoy every aspect of his park, no matter their age. :)

Disney Padawan,

I think it's wonderful that you're taking your GF to a character meal. My husband took me to CRT on our honeymoon and it was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

As a child I had always wanted to eat there, parents always said no...and I'm glad they did. I wouldn't have appreciated it as a child, and as an adult it was a true dreams-come-true moment.

If you can do it, take her to CRT, it's not just the characters, but it's the eating in the castle. Food's pretty good to for an adult. Hopefully you could sit by a window.

Oh yeah, and everytime we go to WDW, we go to CRT, and everytime we go to DL we go to Ariel's Grotto. We love it every single time.

DH and I are in our 30's, no kids and we do at least one character meal every time we visit. Our top picks are Liberty Tree Tavern at MK, Crystal Palace at MK and Garden Grill at Epcot. We've tried some others, but these have had the best food and the best character experiences.

Much agreed! Walt wants everyone from young to old to have a magical experience and for the adults (who are the ones paying for everything) to be left out isn't fair. The characters at all of the meals are wonderful to everyone, young and old, and I've never once been to WDW and seen a child disappointed because she/he didn't get to meet a character. We've even given up our spots in line around the parks so that kids could meet characters and either gone back later or booked another character meal. WDW is for EVERYONE and characters are for EVERYONE no matter what your chronological age may be!
