I wasn't sure whether to post on this board or the Restaurant Board ...but I'm looking for recommendation for character meals for my family's first trip to WDW (53 days...can't wait :D ). I have three sons ages 16, 14 and 8. Naturally the two teens are highly UNenthused about any sort of character meal, but my 8 yo would like every meal to be one! Any suggestions for one that my older guys will enjoy w/out feeling like they're back in grade school? Thanks

I've always liked the Garden Grill for breakfast. Actually, I feel that all of the character meals have something to offer everyone. Your youngest can get a lot of attention and your older kids can just eat and maybe give a High-5 to Mickey. I actually (usually) love the food at character meals so they are always a must do.

I'm thinking those teen-age boys might like getting their picture made with the princesses at Cindy's breakfast:D I know that is my DH favorite place for our DD to have a character meal with especially Jazman:earseek: Also at the Contemporary they have Chief Mickeys which I think all the kids would like, it is more of a party atmosphere, plenty of food for growing boys, and I've seen Chip and Dale make even the "coolest" teenager play. Hope this helps and have a great time:smooth:

My 14 yr old son didn't like the Princess's (too girly), he loved the Villans at 1900 Park Fair, but that has now changed to Pooh & Friends. He likes Chef Mickey & The Crystal Palace....

When DS was 17 he enjoyed the LTT more than any of the others.

I would say Donalds breakfastosaurus at AK. This seems ot be the most "boyish" of the character meals

I agree with the Garden Grill Breakfast.. Great Sit down breakfast - all you can eat...
Plus they can sit inside and have younger sible on the side to jump up and spend time with characters.... Let the older ones take pictures of dad/mom with characters...
BUT my teens love to have pictures taken with characters..... so depends on your kids.
But they are girls...................

We took a 300 lb. college football player with us to Goofy's Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. He was a first time visitor to WDW. Goofy especially made a big deal of our friend's size, particularly his muscles. Needless to say, two years later, one of his favorite pictures of the trip is one of he and Goofy comparing their muscles. We love the breakfast at Cape May Cafe - I bet your teenagers will, too. Also would recommend Donald's Breakfastsaurus and Chef Mickey's for your guys as well! Enjoy!
