which character dinner?

After all the non so good comments on Mickey's Backyard BBQ, I have decided to cancel and save some $$.

Now the question...


which is the best place to have dinner with Mickey and the characters?

Oh my, you will probably get lots of different responses....we have enjoyed both Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill. The character interaction at both was very good and we enjoyed the food. CM is a buffet and GG is served family style. CM features Mickey, Chip, Dale and Goofy usually greets diners near the waiting area. GG has Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Probably must vote for Chef Mick's also. We enjoyed Garden Grille, but something about Mickey in those farmer pants just icks me out -- his stomach looked alll ...droopy or something! My kids noticed it first -- had to agree!

Plus -- with a buffet, you can pick what you want. If you don't like what's in the skillet at GG, tough toodles. We loved our skillet, but sil and bil clearly did NOT. At CM's everybody was happy (especially the kids at the dessert bar!)

Chef Mickey's! There are some on these boards who don't like CM's and I'm sure they have their reasons but we've had dinner there 4 times and the food has always been good. This isn't 5 star dining or anything but no buffet is. There are enough selections that you should be able to leave full as we always do. We tried the dinner buffet at 1900 Park Faire in the GF but all agreed we prefer Chef Mickey's.

Garden Grill for us. The character interaction always seems better here than other places. The food is also pretty darn good. We always have a good time and we are looking forward to another return trip.

I have to agree with Chef Mickey's! This is a must for my kids. Another great place that my son loves is Crystal Palace. Both have good food and great character interaction.
