Ok so over 7 day stay thinking of doing 2/3 character breakfasts/lunch/dinner - were thinking of the Artiste Point with Winnie as he is my little girls favourite and we will be based at WL but what about the others which ones would you guys out there recommend.......

Cinderellas Castle???? or breakfast at the Poly?????? how about the Contempory for dinner with Mickey ???? there are so many and I am so confused....and definately cannot afford to do them all either in time or money for that matter....

Would love some help

They no longer have the character breakfast at Artist Point :( . But, you can find Pooh at several other restaurants. I know he appears at the dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Maybe also at the Tony's breakfast????

We really enjoyed the breakfast at the castle. It was a neat experience to eat there.

Good luck with your decision!

We adore character meals!

Donald's AK 2x
MGM (the one that's gone SS) 1x

CRT was our fav FIRST time.

Ohanas was relaxed fun!

Chef Mickey's was a great time, lots of energy!

Crystal Palace fun fun fun!

GG Epcot relaxed.

Donald's AK has become a fav!

Chef Mickey's character meal is a must! We've done it twice, and as another post says, its a tradition for us to do that on our first night...last time we checked into the Polynesian, unpacked, took a quick swim, then took the monorail over to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickey's....its a great way to start the trip!

Pooh character meal at Crystal Palace, we've done twice, and had great experiences both times. First time, my then five year old daughter cried when we had to leave....it was one of those rare circumstances where she got some special one on one time with the characters in between breakfast/lunch when everyone else had left! Rare and magical!

Character breakfast at Ohana at the Polynesian....was very nice. Not our favorite, but very nice. The general atmosphere and food there is great any time of day.

We want to do the princess breakfast at Cinderella's Castle...coulldn't get reservations, so we just had dinner there, without characters. In our opinion, it was worth it just to eat in the castle. Will try for the princess breakfast for next time...but if we can't get it, we'll try fo the new princess breakfast at Epcot, if they continue it past the trial period.

My dd's loved breakfast in the castle with the Princesses. If you can possibly get a ps(very tough to get) than this would be a must do. Our other favorite is Chef Mickey's for breakfast.(we have never done a character dinner.) We do Chef Mickey's on every trip to WDW and the kids love it. Did character breakfast at the Poly and didn't care for it.

Last January, we did Donald's Breakfastasaurus at Animal Kingdom, and it was a big hit. It wasn't that crowded, and the characters spent a ton of time at our table. It was a great way to start off the day at AK.

We love doing the evening meal at Chef Mickey's (been here twice for dinner) - just can't beat those parmesan mashed potatoes. This is a FUN place, lots of character interaction - noisy, music, napkin waving, etc.

We've done the castle breakfast twice also - and this is a MUST at least once!!! The food here is ok - but it is pre-plated.

This year, we did breakfast at 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. The meal was VERY GOOD!! Don't skip the strawberry soup - yummmmmmm!!! This was more of quiet breakfast in a smaller location - which we enjoyed very much. Winnie the Pooh was there along with Rabbit and Alice in Wonderland. The characters came by 3 times. Mary Poppins was in the lobby greeting guests as they arrived.

We've also done the Garden Grille at Epcot for breakfast - it was fun, but not one I'd repeat.

Other meals we LOVE - but not character meals...

Breakfast at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge - have fun with the "rude" waitresses and be sure to have one of your kids ask for catsup.

Dinner at 'Ohanas at the Polynesian - a family favorite of our's.

Hope this helps.....

Our favorite is Donald's Breakfastasaurus at Animal Kingdom. There is great interaction with the characters and the CM's are the best. We did Chef Mickey's for dinner and thought it was way too crowded and despite my son's birthday button, we felt the character's were too busy and too rushed to get from table to table.
