Which character breakfast would you choose...Chef Mickeys or Ohana's? Is the food the same at each, and do they have the same characters?

Chef Mickey's has Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy...and sometimes Donald Duck. I am not sure who is at Ohana's besides Stitch. We have not done it since it was Minnie's Menehue Breakfast (we do NOT like Stitch). Chef Mickey's is a buffet; Ohana's brings the food to you family style, I believe.

Depends on what you want...Chef Mickey's has a large buffet with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. Ohana's is served family style, they bring it all to your table, Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto were all there when went in February. I aked my girls which did they like better and they said Ohana's. Of course that might have to do with liking Lilo and Stitch :goodvibes

Food wise, there's way more variety at Chef Mickey's but I felt the food tasted better at Ohana's and had more of cozy family feel. The characters at Chef Mickey seemed rushed too. Just my 2 cents! :goodvibes

Deffinately depends on what your looking for....one's a buffet...other sit down. We "hands down" prefer Ohana's. The food, service and character interaction are much better. You also get fabulous views of the MK and they do a dance line that is absolutely adorable. It's a must do for us everytime we go! :)

I met an ex-manager of food & beverage for WDW. She helped me pick out my bridal jewelry, and we got to talking about my disney wedding. She moved to Pittsburgh because her husband got transferred here.

Nevertheless, I asked her the best place to eat in all of WDW, and she said Chef Mickey's breakfast. I have never been there, but I like to think she knew what she was talking about.

That said, I have read rave reviews of Ohana just about everywhere! I personally like Lilo & Stitch a lot, so I would probably pick there. Since both seem so good, I would go w/where your kids prefer the characters! :cutie:

We love Chef Mickey's. The food is great, I have never been to Ohana's but would love to try it.

We're doing Ohana because it's less popular ;) Chef Mickey's was completely booked up the whole week we're going, and there was a wide range of seatings still available at Ohana. I'm actually glad because I prefer non-buffets anyway! (Now we just have to watch Lilo & Stitch...)

I love Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast. The characters are fun

We enjoyed both but if different ways. We enjoy dinners more at chef Mickeys and breakfast better at O'Hanas. The fruit juice is yummy and the fruit bread it out of this world.

We loved Ohana's!! The food was really good! They kids get to do a little parade around the place shaking maraccas with the characters. I haven't eaten at Chef Mickey's, but our same trip we ate Donald's restaurantasaurus which is a buffet. I don't mind buffet's at all, but I think for breakfast the family style meal was more enjoyable. I would just ask your children which characters they would rather see and go from there.

Last summer was our last trip to Ohana for Breakfast. That time they were pretty tight with the waffles. Prior times they left a plate of food at each table that contained waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes. This time, it was the same, minus waffles. A server came around and gave each person 1 waffle. We did not like it becaise the kids like the waffles best, and I found the waffles to be cold when they were served this way. Hope they ended that.

We'd pick Chef Mickeys. The buffet has more choice.

Have fun!
Diane
