From what I've been reading, not all the category 4 staterooms sleep 5. Most of them sleep 4. Does anyone know which rooms DO sleep 5? I'd like to choose my stateroom if possible. Any Cat 4s that sleep 5 mid-ship??

We stayed in 8552 which was starboard, just about midship or so. We never needed ANY bonine, dramamine, sea bands, etc. The cabin was great, as was the view from the verandah. And it did sleep five!

We have Cabin 8554 scheduled for the Wonder on October 13th, and I know it also sleeps 5 as that is how many we have going.

Haven't been on a DCL cruise yet so can't attest to noise or movements.

Nearly ALL the Cat. 4s sleep five. If you are a party of five you will definitely get a stateroom that sleeps five. :)

If you ask your TA or DCL, they can tell you what cabins are available that will accomodate 5 and you can select from the ones they list for you. You can ask them to look for a cabin that is midship, or near an elevator, or whatever criteria you're looking for.

One way to see the next 8 cabins available on a particular sail date is to go through one of the online reservation engines, like the one from Dreams Unlimited Travel. This is a link to their site:

You can identify the date and the ship and then the number of passengers and it will show you the next 8 cabins available.

hope that helps
