Which Car To Book ????????

I need to get our car hire booked for Aug but not sure what to book.

Whichever size we go for we usually book the "premium option".

This time there are 5 of us and we usually use our max luggage allowance. I can't imaging taking 10 cases - but you never know.

We will def have 4 large suitcases and 2 large duffle bags and maybe a couple of smaller bags and our carryons.

When we went in April we could only get a Grand Cheroke which we needed to fold down one back seat to fit in and there was only 3 of us then.

We've had a Dodge Durango before and really liked it and from memory the boot was a lot bigger than the Grand Cheroke as we don't need the 7 seats.

I tried to book a Cadilac Escalade through US Rent a Car but they couldn't honour our booking. Annoyingly it still shows as a bookable option - don't think they should be able to do this, but thats another story!

So what do you think I should be booking??

You could consider the Dodge Journey, but it is a mid sized not a full sized like the Durango

Basically a crossover staion wagon based on the same Chrysler LX floorpan as the 300c and Dodge Charger.

I am not sure if the Durango is still in production

Glad that works for you but I have a few rules when on holiday, no washing, ironing, making beds, or cleaning. IF I do want to wear something twice I'll get the hotels laundry service to do it.

Now back to cars ........
