Which car rental service? (non WDW)

We need to rent a car when we go to KC at Christmas. Prices between quite a few aren't that different so who would you recommend?

Just to clarify, we'll be renting it at the KC airport and just using it to drive around town and go back and forth between the in-laws houses.

I guess whichever has the best price and even better if you don't have to take a shuttle bus to the location. We usually use National or Dollar. Sign up for their express services. You can get info on how to do this with National at mousesavers.com. Dollar express is free on their website.

Try going to mousesavers.com and check out their rates using the coupon codes there. I used a walmart coupon code for Thrifty and saved a bunch.

IMHO - Hertz by far is #1.
I know you're renting in KC, but at MCO we can take the Hertz bus and be driving to WDW in our rental car while the people at 'lamo and other onsite companies are still waiting in line and getting the hardsell for unnecessary extras!

We like Budget at MCO. No shuttle and Fastbreak service means getting a car in less than 5 minutes.. before the luggage hits the carousel!
