Which car rental agencies are located at the port? Need two cars post-cruise to kill time before 7 pm flight out of MCO.

There are pick up areas under the new canopy for Avis, Hertz, and Budget.

What do you mean under the canopy? Can we drop off a car there as well?

When you disembark you go across the street to the parking lot. There is a white canopy to your left where the rental shuttles pick you up. We had a Budget reservation, ans it was a short ride to the agency. We were lucky as the shuttle (van) was waiting and he took us and another family right away, so I can't comment on the waiting time if there was a crowd.

I think you drop off the car at the agency and they will bring you to the dock.

We just got off the Wonder yesterday. You no longer go across the street for rental cars. When you come out of the terminal on the sidewalk there are areas for each of the car rental companies that are available. YOu just get in line and and they fill the vans with your luggage and take you to the rental place. Very easy.

You could never drop a rental car right at the port...you had to drop off the rental at the rental agency and take one of their shuttle buses to the port. On the return you used to have to walk across the street to the outer parking lot, but DCL recently added a car rental shuttle pick up area outside the terminal that will take to you to your offsite rental location to get your car.
