Which Captain and Cruise Director will sail on the Wish Maiden?

What happened when the Wonder came into the fleet? Did the Magic captain move up to the newer ship or was a new captain brought on board? Same question for Dream and Fantasy.
There must be a Platinum 25+ that recalls how it was done.

I'm hoping for Captain Henry. I think I read here before that Commodore Tom brought out all four previous Disney ships.
It's great to see Ashley advance. We got to know her on our first (the 3rd) Dream cruise in 2011 when she was dancing in the Sail Away show.

I think at that point Capt Henry and Capt John shared the Magic , while Tom and another Capt had the Wonder.. I forget who he was at the time but reminded me of Alan Arkin or Peter Boyle. Pretty sure he retired years ago. They did the same with the Dream class.Tom brought the Dream home, then went back for the Fantasy. He was one of the first DCL crewmembers hired and Henry wasn't far behind in the technical area.

Captain Henry and Ashley were together on the WBPC. They seemed to have a great working relationship.

Thank you @truck1. I knew someone out there could recall the history of the captains and new ships. Cmdre Tom was in command when we hit head-on to Hurricane Sandy.

Np. There used to be a spot on DCLs page, that listed some of the Capts and other officers and there bios. Thats how I knew Henry started shoreside in the technical side before going back to sea. I found a partial list from Scott on the DCL blog, that lists some of other lesser known Capts and there service dates. The Capt I was thinking of was Hans Matebor. He was only with DCL for 4 years from 98 to 02.

Thanks, I don’t ever see Tiktoks so I was not aware of that. I thought it was an interesting announcement, because the ship won’t have two cruise directors. There’s a cruise Director and an assistant cruise Director. So maybe they meant that the two of them will do the first season.

The ship will have two cruise directors - but not at the same time. If Ashley and Jimmy are the cruise directors, they will rotate based on their vacation schedule. Ashley will be on, then when she goes on her vacation, Jimmy will be on. Just like the Captains rotate, the other positions on the ship rotate between people based on contracts.

Has not been announced yet, but I tend to lean towards those saying between the female power with the ship and Ashley being in all the promos it will be her.
