Which cancelled event are you most bummed about?

Three trips, all on my terminally ill dh's bucket list. Now I don't know if he will be physically able to take those trips at the time it's safe to travel.
My son has postponed his wedding, and I just hope Dh can attend when they finally do get married.
We also missed attending three funerals of friends and family.

Two of my kids have become clinically depressed, including one becoming suicidal, with the loss of school and extracurricular activities. My toddler has become completely dysregulated to the point of headbanging and vomiting without the structure of his pre-school and OT sessions. He keeps trying to elope to "walk to school".

I also miss my job terribly. I am laid off until October, although it is looking like our company will not make it through at all. My work was my passion and my co-workers my only friends.

I'm starting to get a growing sense of dread that Trick O' Treating will get cancelled this year. With how we are setting up schools to be run like prisons this year, and Halloween being on a weekend this year, it's a very depressing thought. I'm hoping I'm wrong and that the powers that be figure out some plan that will work.

I am sorry your husband is ill. I know how hard it is. 🙁

Trip to Disney World with a very dear friend who is 69 years old and has never been! I wanted to show her my favorite place. I’m trying to think positive about taking her next year it will be her 70th birthday an hope to plan something special on the trip

First time, same for me and my son, who graduated HS. I can't see it happening any time soon. All those well-thought out plans down the drain. Such disappointment and frustration, and we're still waiting for those airline refunds.
Yeah, we haven’t been able to officially cancel our airfare yet because the airline is only doing so up until end of September. We were supposed to be going first week of October.

A June family wedding at the Jersey shore. We had a week booked as DH and I have taken a 4 or 5 night trip there the last 4 years in June. It was to be a combination of wedding and our late Spring vacation. My Sis & niece were going to go clothes shopping with me as I needed a few outfits for the festivities ( wedding is on DH's side). So we had a plans to do lunch or dinner on shopping days .
The wedding has been rescheduled for 2021. 🤞 things may be back to something normal by then.

I would probably have to say Food & Wine.

My husband and I went last year, and we had a blast. He's not really a theme park person, but we timed it just right and had a ton of fun. Went completely on impulse. We'd talked about going this year ever since.

I know it isn't really "canceled," but it feels like it to me. I'm not interested in a "modified" experience. We'll just have to wait until next year. (I just looked at the menus and found they also won't have our favorite booth, Thailand.)

I also lament the cancellation of our reservations for Victoria and Albert's - I have made reservations every year since 2018, and every year have had to cancel for one reason or another. I thought this was FINALLY our year to go, I planned out my gown and his suit and everything. And now I worry it will be even more difficult to book next year.

A Cruise and trip to WDW, Local Jazzfest, Sammy Hager Concert I had great seats, County and State Fairs, Matchbox Twenty Concert(which has moved to 2021), trip to Vegas to see my BFF. Still hopeful for Indy 500 (new date)but we will see.

We had to cancel my baby shower-after going to so many through the years, I was excited to celebrate our baby with all my family and friends. My husband has not been allowed to go to any of my OB appointments-as of now, he is able to go for the birth so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it does not change before September! Im going to miss having my family come and meet my son, like it would have happened before all of this.

They haven’t been cancelled yet but I’m worried they will be, we have 4- nights reserved at our favorite hotel (Lilac Tree) on Labor Day on Mackinac Island. Then our daughter and I have the same trip reserved in October, she hasn’t been to the island since she was a child (she is 41), and I have a bucket list month long condo reservation on the island at the end of December.

The Island was locked down but has been open for tourists a few weeks now, but not everyone is abiding by the order to wear a mask or social distancing either so I’m very concerned those people are going to cause the island to be shut down again.☹️

Family trip to Hawaii
Weekend birthday trip to NYC to see Wicked with my mom
Girlfriend trip to Chicago
DS's Junior prom
Marching band season for DS's Senior year >:(
Wilson County fair
Life in general, I haven't seen anyone except immediate family for 4 months and I miss just talking and hanging out with fellow humans
