We will be going to POR for the 1st time from 9/22-9/29. It is myself, DH,
DS(6), and DS(2). My husband has decided he wants to stay in the mansions...but which building should I request? How many floors are there? We will have a rent a car so we don't need to be near the bus stops.
I'd love to hear some opinions!! Thanks in advance!:)

We stayed at Magnolia Terrace in March of 2006 and it was very lovely, and not that far to walk to the food court and Ol Man Island Pool. It was such a pretty walk. A quiet pool was very close also. Enjoy.

We always request Magnolia Terrace 1st or Oak Manor 2nd. Both are very convienient to the front areas and have quiet pools, also not far from Ol' Man Island pool. The building sections have 2 to 3 floors and nice theming. We have had a "corner" room a few times and that was nicer than the standard room. More window area for the table. I request a room nearer the quiet pool but do not specify a floor. Everytime we get pretty much what we ask for.

Keep in mind that the Mansions rooms do not have the trundles, so 4 is the max. Hope that helps.

What a beautiful picture.

How do you request a particular room?? I don't recall that at booking.

We always stay in A/B building 18
It's close to the main building, bus stop, main pool, and has a quiet pool right outside as well as a laundry facilty right next to it.
