First I have to thank chip126 for getting me on a Poly kick! :) :) :)

Having never stayed at the Poly before which building would be best for a Magic Kingdom view?

Thanks! :) :) :)

We stayed LVC in Hawaii this past summer and the view was fantastic! We were on the third floor and sat on our balcony to watch Wishes and the EWP almost every night. We could lay in bed and watch the castle change colors after Wishes was over.

I think Tahiti and Tuvalu are the only other longhouses that have rooms which directly face the lagoon.

Take a look at Tikiman's site for a lot of Poly info.

It's definitely Hawaii, but that costs extra.

We love Tokelau. If you reqest a room on the west side close to the lagoon you can see the magic kingdom from your balcony and still have a view of the quiet pool. It is a great location. I read a lot of requests for rooms where you can view the fireworks from your balcony. However, viewing the fireworks from the pool area or the beach area with all of the other guests and kids and hearing everyone talk and cheer is part of the whole experience for us. We have always stayed in Tokelau and could see the fireworks from our balcony but we never want to. We would much rather have our toes in the sand swinging on a hammock or lounging in a chair enjoying them with everyone else. Have fun.

We just came back from a week stay in Tahiti and had a wonderful view of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks. Since we have two small children it was such a pleasure to be able to watch the fireworks from our room right before bed. We really loved Tahiti - being able to walk quickly to TTC was very convenient. What I loved most about the Poly was that after a hectic day in the parks there was such a peaceful and soothing ambiance to the resort allowing everyone to fully relax.

denman,

what room is that?!?!!?!

we're hittin up the poly this december...must know!

thanks!

Room 3501 in Hawaii. I think the 3rd floor gives you the best view. What a difference a view like this makes.
