Need some help from you OKW experts. Planning a Family Reunion and will need 3 studios and one 2 bedroom. Have 10 adults and 7 kids ages 10 months to 13 yrs old. We will have one or two cars at the most. Any ideas of what buildings to stay in? The time frame is Dec or Feb. So are being by the pools a big deal? My DH thinks by the main house is important. Also can you get to BW without taking you car? If you request all the rooms in the same building is that followed?
THANKS

The kids may still want to go swimming in Dec or Feb - we just did a family reunion the last week of December, and my sisters kids went swimming every day (heck, her and her son even did Blizzard Beach one day for awhile before they closed it because it got too cold).

So, for the kids I would say being near a pool (any pool) would be the top request, though Turtle Pond and the main pool are the largest pools.

Not sure about the bus to BWV, but I don't think there's a direct bus if that's what you are looking for.

Yes, you can ask that all the units be "near" each other - they will try to accomodate a request like this - just have each reservation noted to say this - you may not get them all in the same building, but they will try to keep you close.

I would recomend bldgs 12,13 or 14 right across from the HH.And right next to a bus stop. There is no bus to Boardwalk.Staying at one of these bldgs put you real close to the main pool at OKW.If you request early enough you should be able to get in the same bldg or right next to each other.
The bldg map for OKW is below... ;)

I will point out that one of the drawbacks to staying in a building who's number is below 30, is that you must go thru the master bedroom to access the bathroom in the 1BR part of the unit, so depending on the composition of people staying in the unit, this may be something to consider. Buildings 30 and higher have a seperate access to the bathroom.

Thanks for the info!! I guess the best would be by the HH. I'll request those buildings you suggested. Thanks again!
Firefighter Mickey - are there dedicated 2 bedrooms in the lower number bedrooms?
