I would like some help on this question, from an experienced OKW DVC Member;
My family and I are going to stay in a Studio at OKC and want to know what building to request. Here are the criteria, and I'm sorry if it seems a bit picky, here goes.

Non-Smoking
First Floor
Close to the Pool
Near the Hospitality House as well as a Bus Stop (preferably the last one at OKW)

Please let me know if you have a solution to this question. Thanks! ::MickeyMo

Ask for non-smoking and near Hospitality House. You can ask for 1st floor, but not sure you will like that, since 1st floor studios are usually hemmed in with MUCH vegetation. The reality is, you are likely to get non-smoking, and if you arrive early in the day, you might get near HH, which IS the last bus stop.

If you are renting points from an owner, the owner has to make the requests for you at the time they make the reservation. Being too specific about requests will only make you disappointed, since OKW usually is on room ready status. That means you will get the room that most closely matches your requests at the time you arrive. Put your most important request first and rank them in descending order of importance. I would suggest not making more than 3 requests also.

I think I remember that they only will put up to two requests on the reservation.

Do you want a ground floor for any specific reason ? If not, maybe just request :
1) non-smoking
2)elevator building

The elevator bldg would cover you if you can't handle stairs and also for being close to HH and main pool. We did not request ground floor or elevator bldg this past Nov, but we got one. We were in bldg 63. Very close to HH (and bus stop) and main pool. We also had a view of Illuminations from our patio. Not sure if you would get this view being in a studio or not as they tend to be on the sides/corners of the buildings ? But listing elevator bldg would cover most of your requests in a little more concise manner.
Good luck

I just go back from staying at building #64..first floor ,Good view of the golf course and had a vist from daffy and daisy along with another mother and her babies every morning..

I would add second a vote for Building 64. We stayed there in April in a studio. We were on the third floor in the corner and it was great! We walked to the bus stop and pool many times.
