Which building at Bonnet Creek?

Does anyone know approximately how long of a drive it is from Bonnet Creek to the different parks, if you're taking your own car or rental car? I'm trying to decide if it's practical to take a break during the day and return to the condo for a nap/swim break.

Also, if there are restaurants that are on the way between the parks and the condo?

You plug into an ethernet port on the phone. It's highspeed and it's free. All their phones are VOIP, so you just use the same line. You might want to bring an ethernet cable with you, though. I don't recall seeing one in the room and hard to say whether they'd have one at the front desk to loan you.

From my experience I can say we loved the resort. I did missing being on-site but I still think we made the best choice by far for our large group traveling this time around. We rented our unit on eBay and paid only $540.00 week for 2 bedrooms. Great price! We were told the main building where the pool and lazy river is located doesn't allow accommodations. Might be different now. We were located in the second building to the right of the main building and it was perfect location. Close to the to both pools which like other poster stated had activities going on daily. Both pools and lazy river are open 24 hours and always perfect temperature. Huge gas grill for anyone to use and came in handy because we grilled out every night. We had a patio since we were in the first floor and loved it. As far as internet they provided us with a ethernet at no charge and we did not have to pay a fee for daily access. I saw another posted stated there was a $10.00 surcharge so they must have changed that. Could that have been for wireless access? Can't remember if that was an option then or not. We left the laptop on the bar and it was easy to access when we needed. A vehicle is a must in my opinion but you are extremely close to Epcot and DHS. It is also very close to Boardwalk Villa / Inn where we took the friendship boats back to the studios one evening. We took their shuttle once and it was good but like any off-site limited to certain drop/pick-up times.

Don't forget to check out the daily activities because certain night they would have movies by the pool which were perfect when we came back from the parks.

I can say we loved this place so much that if we travel with a large group again we will be staying here. If it is just me, dh, ds then we will be on-site.

5-10 min to MK parking lot, then monorail
5-10 min to AK parking lot
5 min to Epcot parking lot
3 min to Studios parking lot

Yes, it's as practical to break here midday as at a Disney resort.

This resort is in the midst of several Disney properties - between OKW and CBR on the maps.

If you are returning from AK, you could drive toward All Stars and stop at the huge McD there. When you come out of their parking lot, turn right and drive a mile or so to get to the resort. Or exit the AK park and turn right toward AK Lodge, go left at the light and in 2 more blocks, you'll reach Rte 192 in Kissimmee, with all its food choices.

If you're coming from anyplace else, head for Downtown Disney's restaurants, only a mile or so from this resort. If you want to go offsite for more family-friendly variety, take Hotel Plaza Blvd from Downtown Disney toward I-4 and you'll see lots of chain restaurants, both sitdown and fast food.
