We have ressies for ASSp in March but am wondering which building to ask for? I have seen threads about best buildings in ASMo and ASMu but never ASSp. I think I have a preferred(SP?) room. I booked under the last code but didn't realize until I got the confirmation that it is a preferred room. If so, maybe I don't have to ask this question. But just incase, let me know what you know about the resort.

Well, if you do have a preferred room, then you'll be in a great location anyway. Otherwise, I would recommend the football buildings (Touchdown hotel or something like that). They're close to the main building (so therefore food court, bus stop, etc.) and both the main pool and the quiet pool.

If you have preferred you are in "Surf's Up". I personally request touchdown. Like "justhat" it's a great location between both pools and near the food court, plus a short walk across the parking lot to the ASMusic.

Personally I liked Homerun Hotel the best it was very quiet and not too far from everything. It was also right next to a very cute quiet pool. If we were to go back to ASsp I would definitely request this building.

We stayed in the touchdown and loved it. It was close to the pool, lobby, and cafeteria for drink refills. It was also close to the bus stop which is important when your carrying back overtired children as i was. The basketball and baseball parts seemed far away when i walked around the grounds and that may make a large difference to you if you are stuck in the back when you return home tired.

Thanks for the replies! You guys are great. I still can't figure out if our room is preferred or not but when we stayed at ASMu I didn't like the preferred building as much as some of the others. Is that the case in ASSp? Is is noisy in the preferred one and too close to a big pool?

Just my 2 cents. I wouldn't bother paying extra for a preferred room at ASSports. In November, I made no requests, and ended up in the Tennis section, which supposedly is the farthest away. I didn't think the walk from there was bad at all, much closer than some of the outermost locations I've gotten at other resorts.

I didn't want to pay it but that was all that was available. Nothing in ASMo or ASMu and only ASSp had preferred rooms left. At least it was a code and was cheaper that normal rates. Cheaper than the regualar room at ASMu we had last year.:D
