We are a family of 4 and my 15 son wants a buffet for choices. Thinking of breakfast on our last day. I think we will be on dining plan.
Looking at food quality taste over characters. Which do you like best.

1900 Park Fare
Wave
Trails End

Personally for me if it's not Boma or Tusker House then pick your poison. Outside of those two, most are all very average at best with buffet food foder that is really nothing that stands out. From your list, if characters are not important then I would pick the Wave. It is smaller, but IMO is better than 1900 Park Fare or Trails End. I will admit though, I am not a big buffet fan.

For a varied meal Tusker House is my choice from your list I would go with 1900. The girls still enjoy characters and the place is a blast.

Wave out of your choices but we think Boma is the best buffet on property. 1900 is good but there’s a character up charge on that one. Trails In is a challenge to get to unless your staying there(or at Contemp or WL).

Our favorite breakfast buffet last trip was Cape May Cafe. It was not crowded or loud, we were not rushed, the food and service were excellent. There were a lot of choices for everyone. We hadn't been there in a while for breakfast and we rarely do buffets at all but this one is now on our must-do list.

ETA: sorry, I missed the list of choices.

The Wave has a very good buffet and, as part of the buffet price, you can also order freshly cooked eggs.

I personally love The Wave. But im trying to think like a 15 year old...maybe he'd like the buffet at 1900 better?? Hard to say. The Wave allows you to customize your eggs....and 1900 does have a made-to-order section for eggs.

Another vote for the Wave. Their buffet is good, but they also have a breakfast menu including omelets.

I think if I add dining plan we will do 1800, if not the wave. I know my boys will like options on the 1800 with donuts and such.

Every year we either do Chef Mickeys , Boma or 1900 Park fare for Breakfast, all 3 are very good, Boma probably the best out of the 3

We enjoy O’hana and Crystal Palace breakfast buffets. We prefer Tusker House for lunch.

Our favorite breakfasts are The Wave (more classy) and Trails End (more rustic).
We do both every trip.

I agree that Trail’s End and The Wave are very good and I’d recommend both of them. Very different vibes but equally good.
