Are there various style\authors for books on the market that cover Disney Cruises???

Is there one better then the other?
Do these cover Ports that Disney stops at with excursions outside the Disney sales?

Should I purchase now?? Does a new edition come out every year?
If so when???

Thank You !

Happy New Year! ::MickeyMo

without a doubt, the gold standard for DCL books is Passporter Guide to DCL, 3rd edition.....check Amazon.com....chances are, your local bookstore such as Barnes and Noble will have it as well

I'm agreeing with Passporters. I bought it for DH along with the Birnbaum's guide before our cruise. The Passporter's has SO much more information. It helped us plan our trip and optimize the time we had on the ship.

Here's another vote for the Passporter. It's the Everything You Wanted To Know of DCL.

Check your local library for an assortment of books. If you have time before your cruise, you can browse through the books, and then purchase the one you like most (maybe waiting for a newer edition).

I got the Birnbaum's guide (didn't know about passporter at the time). I found it useful, but did wish there was more info in it.

I bought my Passporter directly from their website www.passporter.com as every other website I checked at the time I was ordering said they were on back order. It was relatively the same price as Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Once I got the book, I registered it with their website and got a discount code. So, I bought my sister and sister-in-law copies also with the discount code I got! :flower:

Another happy Passporter user. In fact I have had a tip published in it last year. Great book!
