Which BOG?

So I managed to get 3 BOG reservations. Dinner, breakfast and lunch. I'm 90% certain I'm cancelling lunch as it no longer fits into our plans, but trying to decide if we should do breakfast or dinner, mostly we just want to see the castle.

Breakfast- 8:15 pre-park reservation. This is actually our AK day, but I was thinking I could do a couple hours at MK and then head over to AK. This is our final day at the parks.
Dinner- 7:05 on a MNSSHP day. This would be our first day at the parks. We don't mind taking 1.5 hours out of the party since we're not super interested in the characters or fireworks and only marginally interested in the parade.
Lunch- 1:00 Same day as breakfast. Was originality going to be a full MK day, but ended up becoming our AK day and the time slot really doesn't work anymore.

We'll be on the DDP. Which one is better or should I keep both breakfast and dinner? It's important that we eat at least one meal there as my bff and I are 90s girls and we loved Beauty and the Beast when we were growing up.

Honestly, since you are only interested in seeing the castle, I would do breakfast and try to schedule it on another day. Doing MK in the morning and then hopping over to AK is going to severely limit your AK time. If that's ok with you, I guess just stick with what you have. If you want to switch days and you are having trouble finding times, try breaking your party up into a party of 1 and a party of 1 (one reservation under your name and one under your friend's). You may be able to find overlapping times that way and since it's a QS, you can then just enter and sit together.

IMHO, I would not waste 1.5 hours eating during the party when you could spend that time riding rides. Seems like a waste of party ticket money, but to each his own!

Going by your explanations, I'd keep the breakfast and drop the other 2. Breakfast should count as a quick/counter service vs. a table service credit. I wouldn't want to take away from the party time as you're paying for that ticket. I'd do rides during that time instead.

Im in the same boat. Had a breakfast, now got a dinner on party night. Our breakfast day we have no park plans the rest of the day ( will be our 9th day at Disney)..was just going to wing it after breakfast. The dinner is at 7pm on our party night. I like this better than the 5:20 we had at the GFC. Not sure if I should keep both. Dont really like the breakfast menu, but its pre park opening ?? Hmmmmm.....

I wouldn't want to do BOG breakfast and then hop to AK. It will take time to get from MK to AK and you're missing valuable early morning park time at AK. However, you will have your 3 FP+ reserved at AK, and it depends on how much you like AK, if you will be there other days, etc.

I also wouldn't want to spend the first 90 minutes of MNSSHP eating. But you're going to need to eat sometime, and if you don't care about characters/fireworks, might as well eat during the time when the ride lines will be longest.

Personally, I would opt for dinner. Use FP+ between 4-7pm, then dinner, and stay until midnight. Avoids hopping on AK day. Get more time in Beast's Castle and a bigger/better meal. And uses a TS credit.

We've done lunch and dinner. We will never do lunch again, that was a disaster from the time we checked in.

We're a party of 5, so reservations are a little bit more tricky. I can't switch the breakfast as we only have 4 park days plus MNSSHP and we have breakfast reservations for 2 of the other 3 days and the third is going to be our lazy morning (the day after MNSSHP).

We'll be hitting the MK right at 4 (hopefully) and I think after 3 hours we'll be ready for a break. We have no desire to do the fireworks and if we go to a parade, it'll be the late parade. And we're not interested in any of the special characters, though we will be trick or treating.

That's what I was going to say too! We loved MNSSHP and that seems like a waste of the money you spent to get in.

My bff (who has made very few demands) really wants us to keep BOG dinner. So we will. Haven't decided if we'll keep breakfast or not, but probably not.

I would cancel dinner during the party... we usually arrive at 4 then QS by 6 before the party gets started.

BatB fans? You're going to love BOG. Dinner is really the best for ambiance and experience. Have fun!
